Rank #1: The Keys To Confidence, Getting Rich And Becoming A 1%-er | Sam Bakhtiar

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have a great guest, Sam Bakhtiar who shares insights about winning goals, mastering your life and your time, how to build your confidence, and build huge results, gives tips on how to save money, some ways to get rich, and how to become A1%-er!

Sam Bakhtiar is a Chiropractic, a $100M dollar CEO, entrepreneur, author, and world-class bodybuilder. He runs a fitness franchising business, The Camp Transformation Center, with 110 locations that focus on transforming people's lives physically & mentally through exercise and nutrition. Sam has helped over 100,000 people transform physically and mentally. He specializes in helping people get to the top 1% in any and every aspect of their life, and become a 1%er. He is also the author of the popular books The Total Body Transformation Secrets and Becoming a One Percenter.

Also, he is a champion bodybuilder with 23 major bodybuilding titles including Mr. Orange County, Mr. Pittsburgh, Mr. California, Emerald Cup, Tournament of Champions, as well as placing runner up in Mr. USA. He has over 18 years’ experience in coaching professional, collegiate, and recreational athletes from all sports. Currently, Sam is a hands-on father of two beautiful girls, and passionate about coaching and mentoring young and upcoming entrepreneurs that need to see the bigger picture.

Dr. Bakhtiar has grown up in a culture that looked down on entrepreneurs; therefore, he got his chiropractor degree and opened a gym because he wanted to transform people’s lives. But Sam can’t transform the people without transforming himself first to boost his self-confidence. This led him to become a professional bodybuilder and later a champion not just in bodybuilding but in all areas of his life.

Sam saw his family members and friends start something but never did anything, thus he hated people who plan a lot without action. He didn’t let them influence him. Sam is all about thinking big and doing things one step at a time. He concentrates on what is in front of him, and is present at the moment. Execute daily to get not far in front of you.

Moreover, Sam always goes back to gratitude and attacks the problem with the plan. According to him, you’ve got to plan your life. You’ve got to live by design and not by default because you just can’t wake up and win things. You’ve got to be intentional with everything, with your faith, with your fitness, with your finances, with your family, always have fun, and let loose. If you’re not going to do these you’ll be totally imbalanced.

You’ve got to master your time, master your productivity, so you can master your life. So, when things go wrong, don’t lose hope but strive hard to stand up.  There’s always a bright side of things. Don’t play like a victim of your failure, but put an action plan, see what you can do, what to give up, what needs to be adjusted, and execute the plan daily.

Embrace every second of your journey and your failures.  The problems present a way for you to grow, and it will make you a better person. Without adversity, without obstacles, life is not worth living, and it will be boring.

On the other side, you have to have respect for money so that money will respect you. You’ve got to be militant with your budget and time management. There is a time and place for everything. It just becomes your decision that you want to get yourself to the next level but comes with the discipline of sticking to it.

“Stay focused on what you want to achieve and be relentless.”

Rank #3: Getting Into Flow State And Arming Yourself For Long Term Wealth Building And Success | Kelly Resendez

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, our guest is a superwoman, Kelly Resendez who shares knowledge and tips on how to balance all areas of your life, the formula of energy management, how to stay focus when you’re off track, some parenting advice and objectives, why should men uplift women empowerment, and how to open up the flow of opportunity!

Kelly is an EVP of Talent Acquisition and Development, a Loanpal, a Founder, Speaker at her two companies Big Voices Rise and FTSS, where she also offers training and coaching and to help struggling salespeople and leaders that wanted not only to increase their success but also have balance and fun doing it. Kelly is the author of the best-selling book Big Voices and Foundation to Sustainable Success. She uses the concepts of mindfulness, self-discovery and goal setting to help their team achieve the company’s objectives and runs its Women’s Mentoring Program.

Kelly is very fortunate to have badass parents who are both entrepreneurs and real estate investors. At an early age, she got into the mortgage industry, became a top 1% loan officer but wasn’t connected to the work on the deeper level. Kelly was losing all her energy as she was working all day & serving the real estate community. Those were the commission days and ‘Achiever Space’ which her fuel is an achievement, crushing anyone's standards but miserable inside.

But then ever since, Kelly had this calling to make a massive impact in the world. Until in 2011, she decided to take a leap and go into more executive leadership to have the capacity to make a change in an organization. She applied the things she learned in personal growth and development, from the ‘achiever space’ to the mortgage industry. As a loan officer, she mastered the fear of rejection. Create a vision for the life she wants to feel, create and maintain the right mindset, take action and manage her energy around it.

On the other side, Kelly makes a point to be a little bit aware of what’s going on in your world. Know your priorities first and build your life around that. Figure out what your formula is, & own it because you did it and it didn’t come in naturally. In addition, surrender and just acknowledge good and focus on it consistently. Choose not to focus on negative things. Instead of beating yourself for getting off track, don’t pay attention to it but find ways on how to combat it to make a positive world, learn and grow from it, and plan what you are going to do next. In short, pull opportunities of growth out of failures.

Also, Kelly believed that we need men and women to work together to give huge impact in the world. Currently, she is a catalyst for changing a lot of mindsets and working out to co-create this new level of joy, success, prosperity, and abundance.

Lastly, Kelly describes how the GoBundance community and other tribes have helped her to stay focused on her goals, have the right mindset, create the strategies and tools that she shares and make a huge impact on the world.

Seek out tribes according to your vision and what you want to feel!

Rank #6: The 2 Stages Of Passive Income, 4 Unique Way To Generate It, And How To Retire Early On Your Terms | Rachel Richards

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have a magnificent guest, Rachel Richards who shares amazing tips and insights about passive income and how to retire early, what are the two (2) stages of passive income, the framework of passive income streams and what are the different types of it, how to maintain the right mindset and motivate yourself, and how to manage anxiety and impostor syndrome!

Rachel is an entrepreneur, real estate investor and analyst, former financial advisor, finance guru, professional speaker, and business owner, and bestselling author of "Money Honey," and "Passive Income, Aggressive Retirement." With over 35 rental units, Rachel has made a name for herself in the personal finance realm. She has been featured on the Penny Hoarder and the New York Times and contracted to speak at colleges. She has inspired and helped thousands of female millennials work their way out of financial despair. She has made the topic of money management fun, entertaining, and simple.

This young lady was in 6th grade when she became obsessed with finance. Instead of playing with her friends in summer camp, she was sitting in the pool reading The Motley Fool Investment Guide for Teens book. Rachel loves reading about the magic of compounding interest and as many as finance books as possible. She grew up witnessing her parents’ struggle in money matters. At a young age, she definitely knows what she wanted in life. Rachel wants something different out of life like freedom, flexibility, and financial independence.

Rachel has always tried to save 50% of her income. She lives frugally and gives importance to save money at a young age. She believes that if you can save money and start investing in the stock market or create a passive income at a young age then you’ll get much further than anybody else that waits 10 years to start investing. Consequently, Rachel maintains her discipline in finances, made some sacrifices, and is responsible for managing her money.

Besides, Rachel has learned the essence of learning the value of time. She ingrained in her mind that if she can start earlier, it’s a big advantage for her. Therefore, Rachel and Andrew started in real estate investing in 2017.  That summer they started the Print on Demand business. As an entrepreneur, Rachel is very ambitious and driven.  Later that year, she turned her passion for writing into a passive income stream. She wrote her first book Money Honey.

The couple is so intentional that they’ve worked full time and worked their passive income in the night time. They were grinding so hard when they started their income streams. Later, Rachel at the age of 27, quit her job and retired, living off $10,000+ per month in passive income.

Rachel insists that you don’t need to start a multiple passive income at the same time. It only takes one passive income stream to make it work, so find the one that works for you.  Likewise, don’t hesitate to render your money or your time or both in starting your passive income stream. Remember, there’s no getting rich quick scheme in creating passive income or an automated income stream without putting any effort. Make an effort to step closer to your goal. Utilize the resources out there that will surely help you like books, blogs, podcasts, Google, and more.

At the moment, passive income provides some incredible lifestyle benefits for Rachel and her husband (freedom, flexibility, financial independence). It allows them to work anywhere and anytime. They have total control over their time and location. She relies on the passive income of $10,000-$15,000 a month. Rachel continues to grow her book business because it’s her passion and it’s not about the money. She wanted to make an impact and change as many people’s lives as possible for the better.

Rank #8: How To Build A Profitable Course And Community In Today's Competitive Landscape | Greg Smith

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have Greg Smith who speaks about creating an ideal community and culture in your customers and within the organization, gives tips on what’s the best way to create great content, how to be a top content creator, how to do marketing for courses, and tips to monetize your expertise with online courses!

Greg Smith is a lawyer, an instructor, entrepreneur and the CEO and Founder of Thinkific, an all-in-one platform that allows you to create, market, and sell your own online courses. It offers the best tools, training, and support to kick start your own online education business. Greg is passionate about education and has taught thousands of students online and delivers amazing E-Learning experiences.

For Greg, it started from tutoring students in law school, and turning it into a blog. He noticed that more people were getting interested in it. People were looking for options to acquire education outside the colleges. Fortunately, there is an explosion of acceptance of online education as the first place to go to learn. It created a poll from the learners. People prefer to go online first as their first point of contact for learning for a frequent career change, career opportunity and promotion, personal improvement like fitness and health, and the desire to learn more crafts and hobbies.

Greg sees the potential of educating and reaching more people by making online courses. Together with his brother, they’ve created the first mini online course and later started their own company. Now, Greg’s company offers a variety of courses for people who want to create their own courses and memberships, to educate potential customers on their brand and website with full control over the content, pricing, and the business.

Accordingly, Greg emphasizes the importance of marketing in any business in order to be successful. Thus, the top content creators must be really good in marketing, if not hiring someone else to do it. Greg really invested in his employees, his business and company and made sure that he’s building an ideal culture within the organization. It is a culture that’s concerned for everyone, united, and supporting each other to achieve their individual and company goals.

Currently, Greg continuously helps entrepreneurs grow their business by getting their passion and message and knowledge out to the world. Helping them start their businesses while enjoying more time and freedom to spend with his family.

Rank #10: The Powers Of Problem Solving, Failing Big, And Doing What You Don't Want To Do | Dave Hollis

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have Dave Hollis who shares insights and tips on how to step up on yourself, in your family, and in your business during this pandemic, the right mindset must possess with, turning mistakes to opportunities and uncomfortable things into something comfortable, and gaining momentum on doing the things you don’t want to do!

Dave Hollis is an author, host of a top couple’s podcast –The Rise Together, motivational speaker, coach, and COO at The Hollis Co. Chasing dreams with his wife and CEO, the extraordinary 2x #1 NY Times Best-Selling author, motivational speaker, and world-changer, Rachel Hollis. The Hollis Company exists to arm people with the tools to make positive and lasting change. Creating media, products, inspiration, and community that challenge the audience to reach for a better version of themselves every day.

Also, Dave is a member of the Motion Picture Academy and has previously sat on an innovation board called Fandango Labs, on the board of Will Rogers Motion Pictures Pioneers, the board of foster care charity Austin Angels and the board of Pepperdine's Institute for Entertainment, Media and Culture.

Dave was born where achievement as a commodity was important for him. It’s his way of achieving the life and things he wanted. But he believes that people should reframe your relationships with failures. There is so much power in appreciating that you cannot take your business and your life to where you like it to be. You cannot grow as a leader or you cannot feel the sense of fulfillment you’d like on either level if you aren’t willing to put yourself in places where you can feel, learn from those failures, equip yourself with a new confidence that makes you a stronger leader or a stronger business. You’re going to learn where you could be better. It’s turning uncomfortable things into something comfortable and fruitful.

Moreover, one bad thing leads to a few good things. These good things stuck on top to change the way their business built their brand. Dave’s team had used breakdowns for future breakthroughs and attacking those gaps and optimizing themselves for better. When something holds you back to step up during this crisis, start with the story that you believed in but don’t forget to check if it’s credible. Put yourself into a mindset that you’re not alone to try new things. You’re not going to be alone pushing yourself into something that makes you uncomfortable.  Do what you don’t want to do and make a breakthrough from that. With the new and unexpected things that come on your way just be agile and move faster.

We all struggle but it’s just the willingness, to be honest with our struggle we are able to afford the opportunity and gain empathy from the people. Take this time the inconvenience of the quarantine as the thing for us, use the time to think about what are the pieces of normal that are actually worth rushing back to. Give the gift of clarity of what things to focus on or need to let go of.

Currently, Dave and his team are taking the steps to meet the audience and bring the world-class conference in your living room (The Rise Conference).  Doing a live stream event is the thing that their team swore not to do but now with this chaos, they would do the things that they don’t want to do to reach the audience and support the learning of the community they’re building on.

Some Questions I Ask:

  • How would you rate your overall temperature, mood, and mental perspective on everything that’s going on right now as 10 being extremely optimistic & excited and 1 being doomsday? (00:35)
  • How does somebody right now get out from being paralyzed by fear, resistant to go all in this aspect of life, procrastinating, but take this potentially once in a lifetime opportunity and turn into something? (06:22)
  • What’s been one of the best failures looking back that you’re so glad about your experience that you wouldn’t be where you are today without it? (12:15)
  • What do you think is your secret sauce in how you show up for your community that has made you guys into what so many people all around the globe now are so attracted & connected to?  (15:31)
  • How much do you feel like the transparency, access, and providing that window into your life to build a brand?  (20:39)
  • How do you find balance in your routine and in your schedule during this chaos? (24:31)
  • What problems are you paying attention to right now that you guys are maybe thinking about staying in front of and learning more about or focus on what's on your plate at the moment and keep it short term?  (32:08)
  • What are you most excited about coming out of the CoronaVirus? (39:16)

In This Episode, You Will Learn:

  • Two kinds of people during this hard time (01:27)
  • Creating opportunities in the problem, we’re facing today (02:17)
  • Choosing what you could possibly do in this state of discomfort (08:43)
  • Why achievements are important for some people like Dave. (09:07)
  • The only way to grow yourself and your business (11:09)
  • How to make you close to your audience. (20:00)
  • How to create the centeredness to unlock the overlap that you’re looking for (25:40)

Quotes:

  • “New problems create new opportunities.”
  • “In the environment where you’re avoiding failure, you are choosing to avoid the opportunity for growth.”
  •  “One bad thing leads to a few good things.”
  • “Vulnerability is a superpower.”
  • “Questions are like the lenses that you can try on to see the world differently based on the answers you find and it shapes.”
  •  “Once you decide to leave the dock, you inevitably head out to the choppy waters where you’ll grow, where you’ll be challenged, and all of your triggers will be triggered.”
  • “If they can see themselves in your story, that’s a huge win.”

Rank #13: The Voice Of The UFC Octagon And How He Built A World Class Brand | Bruce Buffer

Podcast cover
Read more

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, our incredible guest, Bruce Buffer shares his insights, amazing entrepreneurial story, tips on how to achieve your goals, what are the winning attitudes, how to live an ideal lifestyle without working, how to make your business sustainable, when to give up when everything is not working, and how to stay on top!

Bruce Buffer is a phenomenal entrepreneur and business owner, the President, and CEO of their company, The Buffer Partnership, the voice of UFC, Intl. Sports/Entertainment & UFC Octagon Announcer, introduced on broadcasts as the "Veteran Voice of the Octagon". He is the half- brother of the boxing and professional wrestling ring announcer Michael Buffer. Bruce holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do and has fought as a kickboxer.

Bruce grew up seeing his dad’s entrepreneurial attitude towards everything, the passion, and intensity he approaches this thing has a huge effect on him. His father was a trader and collector of artifacts where he learned how to sell, talk, pitch, and deal at a very young age. He taught him an entrepreneurial spirit he needed. Bruce started his business selling jewelry in school.

Later, he got into a selling business with an impressive selling performance by just observing and learning from the people on top. Then, he started his own company. Bruce learned the business organically with entrepreneurial attitudes with trial and error. His early pieces of training have helped him do things in business much better than most people do.

On the other hand, Bruce never gives up on his ambition. He wanted to be an announcer, inspired by his half-brother Michael Buffer. Seeing successful people motivates him. He loves the attitude for standing up for yourself and sticking what you believed. So he fought that ambition for years until he became a professional mixed martial arts ring announcer and the official Octagon announcer for UFC events.

Moreover, Bruce emphasized that in business you need to have passion too in what you’re doing. If you can find your passion and you can monetize it then you won’t be working on living a lifestyle. He is always world-class in what he does because of his work ethic and passion.

Also, Bruce believed that we’re all GOD - a Governor of our Own Destiny. No matter what you believe in or get the support from, in the end, you’ll be the one who makes a decision for yourself. Therefore, you have to believe in yourself, do not change your principle and stay consistent because everything is all about attitudes. Set your work as always the first time, give your best and prove them and to yourself that you deserve the job.

Bruce doesn’t let jealousy and green monsters into his business. According to him, “don’t be jealous of people if they’re successful; learn from them, absorb them why they’re successful”. It’s all about learning from others and applies those principles along with your basic principles and forms your path. Be realistic on what is your goal, the steps towards the goal; achieve the goal, the goal, then the next goal.

Lastly, whether you want to be a leader or follower, either way you can still live an amazing life, just find what you wanted. But never forget where you came from!

Some Questions I Ask:

  • Where did your entrepreneurial journey start before the UFC? (02:02)
  • What does your routine look like on a daily basis? (25:25)
  • Who are some of the people around you in business or sports or industry that have inspired you, and what have you pulled from them? (29:59)
  • What is your best piece of advice for young entrepreneurs today that still rings true and you always fall back on, you’ve tried, and tested? (34:44)
  • What’s next for Bruce Buffer? Why are you pushing the way you’re pushing? (37:58)
  • If you get to the end of the road and you’re looking in your rearview mirror behind you, what do you want to see or hope that is said that helps you go rest easy and say “that was life worth with”? (43:57)

In This Episode, You Will Learn:

  • The Pyramid of Life. (04:17)
  • How the ‘Let’s get ready to rumble” brand form. (15:09)
  • Why all the businesses are the same, the product is different. (18:30)

  • Bruce Three Put Theories (32:53)
  • Tips on how to stay your business uniform and sustainable. (36:57)
  • Parting piece of advice for entrepreneurs. (44:56)

Quotes:

  • “You should enjoy yourself from the fruits of your labor.”
  • “Life is not that difficult, people make it difficult by thinking together to recreate the will.”
  • “All businesses are the same; it’s just the product that is different.”
  • “In life, I do everything with passion.”
  • “If you can find your passion and you can monetize it then you won’t be working on living a lifestyle.”
  •  “When you want something in life, you have to ask for it.”
  • “Be the best you can be whether you’re number one.”
  • “If you are the best you can be into the best drive you can then you’re winning.”
  • “It’s all attitudes.”
  •  “Stand up for what you believed, and hold on what you believed.”
  • “Don’t be jealous of people if they’re successful; learn from them, and absorb why they’re successful.”
  • “Look at the mirror and be realistic.”
  • “Be realistic, step goal, achieve the goal, the goal then the next goal.”
  • “Just stand tall and believe in yourself.”
  • “Teach how to teach how to teach.”
  • “We’re all created equal so we all have the same shot; it’s about how you approach it.”
