Abel Gonzalez is an elite American Ninja Warrior (ANW) athlete, trainer and owner of AXIOS Warrior Academy, a holistic wellness center in South Texas. He started his American Ninja Warrior journey as walk-on rookie in the 2014 Dallas finals and by the end of 2015 he was named as an alternate to (the 5-person) Team USA vs. The World (Japan &amp; Europe). Dave was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in southern Ohio. He attended the University of Kentucky and studied chemistry, and returned to the Tri-State area over 24 years ago. He understands the economic and business challenges associated with the Appalachian area. Dave resides in Wheelersburg, Ohio and is happily married for 30 years to his wife, Connie, and has three sons. He is active in his local church and is a certified biblical counsellor with ACBC. In that role, he enjoys helping people overcome personal challenges. His diverse business career includes developing an environmental consulting branch office from the ground up to an over 1.5 million dollar annual revenue, serving as director of research and development for a specialty communication firm, business regulatory consultant for municipal government, as well as marketing, sales, and business development experience. Dave Schwendiman is a recovered entrepreneur and undefeated competitive runner (the other guy didn't know he were racing). He leveraged 30 seconds of Japanese Cup Noodle fame into a full 15 minutes. Dave is scared of spiders, but will beat you in a handstand contest. He discovered his love of sales and coaching only after going completely broke as a contractor. Paul "Sully" Sullivan is a native New Englander living in California, is an Emmy-nominated television producer who has previously produced such shows as "Axe Men", "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Bonnie Hunt Show". An award-winning filmmaker, he directed the feature film "I'll Believe You" as well as many short films including "Sergi" as featured on PBS' "Independent Lens". He has been a contributing baseball writer for USA Today, Baseball Digest, The Hardball Times, Time Out New York and Bleacher Report.
