Alicia Showalter Reynolds was last seen on March 2nd, 1996 at approximately 7:30 am in Baltimore, Maryland when she said goodbye to her husband Mark. She had made plans with her mother to spend the day shopping in Charlottesville, Virginia. When she did not arrive as promised her mother grew increasingly concerned, and as the hours passed, they knew something was amiss.

In The Woods

Between the years of 1996-2014, an unusually high number of women have fallen victim to disappearances and murders along the Route 29 corridor in Virginia calling the suspect the... Route 29 Stalker.

I kept thinking that I must have missed episodes because a lot of information was left out. They did no overview of the cases ir suspects and it seemed the team just assumed you already knew about  the case. They also never revisited interesting information they uncovered and never offered where it may have fit into the case. For example They was brought up an interesting theory about the man working in the auto industry but never went back and explained If that was relevant to the story. I think the story is interesting but the organization was confusing and missed a lot of the set up seen in podcasts like serial and accused or frozen truth

Confusing

Has some interesting content but it is an obvious rip off of Payne Lindsey and the Up and Vanished podcast as far as narration style, sound and structure. So get your own ideas please. Because of this and the poor investigation here, it seems more of trying to cash in on a podcast than actually trying to solve these crimes.
