Very much like our culture today, the culture of Isaiah's day - the inhabitants of Jerusalem were caught up in thoughtless revelry and merriment when instead the people should have sought serious reflection and penitence. For such a sin Isaiah has only a “fearful looking-for of judgment” to announce.

Coming from a very similar background from Calvary chapel through the messianic movement and seeing the pagan traditions in both movements and coming out of those I have come to the same conclusions biblically and historically as Matthew Nolan. That to me is just confirmation of being on the right path. I like the historical and biblical aspects he brings in his teachings.

Eph 2:15 Having abolished/katargeo/beṭêl-בּטל, in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.   Here's the reality it’s only the law/torah of commandments contained in ordinances that falls under the abolishment clause; NOT the law/torah contained in covenant!    The truth shall reveal the validity of YHWH’s law is Not being attacked, on the contrary Torah to the Tribes is upholding the law under the banner of Messiah in it’s proper administration, a MINISTRATION OF THE SPIRIT.
