Brock Hargrove has been working with our company for about five years as a daily claims adjuster. He handles many of our claims – from fire, wind, and water damage to liability investigations. He is also one of our top picks to send new adjusters to for their first few ride-along training sessions due to his vast knowledge and skill in handling a wide range of claims. He shares with me how he worked as a carpenter to a sales rep to a VP of Claims.  Bill, who once loved building things, reveals to me what his life was like on his side of the fence in the adjusting world.  He talks about how being a sales rep helped him deal with people, what a claims adjuster is, and provides us with some tips on how someone could become a staff adjuster.    “You have to deal with people. Francisco Aragon is an independent claims adjuster in the Phoenix, Arizona region. He has been in the insurance adjusting industry for almost eight years but has previous experience with insurance claims since his former role as a sales representative. Francisco is experienced in multi-state licensed daily and catastrophe claims, handling different claims due to water, wind, hail, fire, and even hurricanes. He boasts of being able to write accurate estimates onsite.   Francisco joins me today to share what it’s like to be an adjuster in the Phoenix area. He describes his experience with being his own boss and the skills he honed to get to where he is today. He explains the importance of a good work ethic and why being lax won’t get you anywhere in this industry.
