Because no matter how well hidden, fear is an insidious creature that will constrain our choices without us even realising. Unconscious fear will lead us to prefer the easier options, to say no instead of yes, to ignore opportunities, to procrastinate, to lash out, to avoid intimacy, and even to be hyper-sensitive to the cold. Fear hijacks success. It lowers the ceiling on our horizon of possibilities. Without us knowing it. Fear stunts the growth of the soul. In the days following my stalking of the fear, I felt powerful surges of pleasure and satisfaction rising inside my body. Out of nowhere. The space that had been taken up by fear was now vacant for more of my true essence to take up residence. All one afternoon I felt almost as if I’d taken Ecstasy. The unfurling of delicious warmth and extreme comfort within my body was intoxicating. Indulging in the full expansion of every breath, I felt as if I could yield eternally into ceaseless pleasure. Since growing out of taking recreational drugs I’ve long aspired to be able to access the same states via natural means. And here it was. #10~ Honouring Your Truth ~ With Rawinia Judson 

~ My Wild Divine Pleasure ~ Small droplets from the nectar of my world. A taste of things that activate, nourish and enliven me. **************************************** An invitation to notice what comes alive within your own body as you listen to these next 15 minutes.  I am a Hedonist.  “living and behaving in ways that mean you have as much pleasure as possible, according to the belief that the most important thing in life is to enjoy yourself” (Cambridge dictionary)  I was channelled this once by a mentor. I knew what a Hedonist was, but I only knew of it ion the context of sexuality, which at the time turned me off because I hadn’t yet explored my sexuality.  I’ve always had this yearning desire to feel the deep intoxication of ecstasy in my body.  On some level, I’ve always known it was possible.  My body’s capacity for pleasure is unbound.  So is EVERY body. Our physical body is an instrument. The more we open our senses and follow our hearts pulls, the more life and love we can feel running through our veins.  That’s what we’re truly desiring; oneness and union that our heart deeply yearns for, flooding our body.   I believe pleasure is the revolution the world needs.  Not in a sexual context (although that will be a delicious byproduct!), pleasure in our everyday life, in our friendships, in our work, in everything.  It’s the actual richness we’re craving.   Amplified pleasure.  I used to think this needed to come through a “deep dive” into my emotions.  Actually that only brought me more contraction and “pain”. We all have a thermostat that we’ve programmed unconsciously to keep our pleasure experience within manageable limits. Because yes, most of us have come to believe that there can absolutely be too much of a good thing. And this belief will attract our experiences accordingly. As soon as we max out, the thermostat kicks in to shut things down. Don’t hug that person for too long. Don’t laugh too loud. Don’t have too much fun while you’re working. Yes of course, life is built of ups and downs and perhaps it’s a stretch to expect to be blissed out all the time, but most of us have our thermostat set WAY too low. We have a very small threshold for pleasure. And conversely, our threshold for being busy, tired, uninspired and stressed seems to grow ever bigger.
