A failure I always thought God Didn't really like me That noone really liked me And that deep down inside I was damaged and dirty Then God reminded me That I'm worthy and lovely I'm never on my own God is with me I can now open my memory Safely It's ok to rant To release the pain healthily Now at last I accept the truth That I am good enough To be loved Completely As me I've accepted me  Acceptance (Carol's poem for Emma) A song, a dance around something that may be difficult A challenge, a moment that you didn't expect and yet must accept.  Be creative; thing wide, think high, think strong, It won't be long until something clicks, something in the mix that makes you think Yeah I can accept this. This is part of who I am for now.

In her day job, she works for social services finding homes for children in care. In April 2020, she had Covid along with Bilateral Pneumonia. She was officially diagnosed with Long Covid in October 2020. She also has depression and health anxiety. In her spare time, she likes to bake gluten-free treats and look after people's dogs. She lives with her boyfriend and their two fur babies (two guinea pigs called Wilbur and Barney).
