In a film that paints a scary yet beautiful story of a boy struggling with bullying, poverty, and his sexuality you can't help but to want the best for him and to see him overcome all the hardships no matter what it takes. A top A24 film to check out if you haven't already because "it can't be worse out here"

A film that teaches you to be yourself and not apologize for how you think or feel. The downside, however, is the turn this film takes at the end that changes the entire mood. That being said it is still worth the watch to see something incredibly unique, and that's not "bad talking"

A slow burn of a film that knows just the right times to ramp up and give you horror with a bleak color scheme and bleaker setting. This film has a lot of tricks up its sleeve as it reminds you that "there is more to this building than what you can see"

This is Zack Snyder at his absolute best, providing a different kind of superhero film that needed a change drastically in this time frame. From the character development, all the way to the overall storytelling of this film, this was something special in a time we didn't know we needed it, and it proves that the times they are a-changin'.

If you haven't seen this one it's definitely a good time to check it, but remember to trick it and don't listen to it.

A film with a beautiful story, great use of foreshadowing and a fantastic message as Celine Sciamma has created a story that will have you asking when are you finished? and the answer is "at some point you just stop, and you know it's done"

A film with a sincere message for Rock and Roll fans does stray at times from its ultimate goal. Nevertheless, leaves a lasting impression with a famous music scene and always stays "honest and merciless".

Once again though, it seems like Zach is 0/3 with picks that Frank enjoys, however, he will not go down without a fight.

In a film that discusses more so the terrifying aspect of how crippling depression can be, the planet on its way seems like an afterthought. Nevertheless, this is the first film we didn't enjoy collectively, but we still have a damn good conversation about it!

Simultaneously, the film also tells the manuscript, a man out for revenge against the people who captured and killed his family. A deep psychological film that ties together infidelity, weakness, fear and, the realization of who you are meant to be. Nocturnal Animals reveals just how much someone is willing to do, to get justice.

A test that is the basis and a very real possibility in Alex Garland's feature film. A story that takes a young man spending a week in a remote home in the middle of nowhere to truly see if he can tell the difference. An unpredictable film with beautiful effects and horror-like plot, you yourself will wonder who is the real human, and who is just a machine.

Today we discuss another fantastic Tarintino film as Jamie Foxx stars as Django, a man on a mission to save his wife from the owner of one of the most infamous plantations of the south, Candyland. A classic western story with a bit of Tarintino flair, Django slowly builds into the unstoppable force willing to do anything to free his wife. A genius scheme, old fashion shoot outs, and some great catchphrases proving that this is his world, and in his world, sometimes you need to get dirty.

Look, we're going to be honest over here at the HQ, this is not a film for everyone. A Zach film indeed and pure torture for Frank, there is definitely a divide among us on this one.

Zahler takes a story that we have seen a million times in westerns flips it on its head. The old west is dying, and an elderly sheriff and his misfit posse set out to rescue their town's doctor. The twist? Well, it just so happens that the people that took them are savage cannibalistic cave dwellers. We're telling you, if you like a good western film, and also love horror, you don't want to miss this one.

A movie of tension building and unnerving shots in the distance of the strangers themselves making for a terrifying film. As the characters try to escape all they can ask is why these people are doing this, Their reply? Because they were home.
