Welcome Everyone!  This is the introduction episode to Chasing Elmore! I'll be focusing on that Legend of Crime Fiction Elmore Leonard! In this episode I just wanted to introduce myself and kind what I will be covering with Elmore's work. As well as why interests me so much and how I got into his novels why I love them so much. One of my aims with this podcast is to hopefully get his name out there a little more. I think a lot of his titles and characters are more known then his name is. When I mention Jackie Brown people know that's a movie by Quentin Tarantino, people know Chili Palmer was played by John Travolta. People scratch their head when I say Elmore Leonard, but both of those are based or created entirely by him. Hopefully talking about all of this together will make a difference. Because I just feel his work should be out there just as much Hammet, Chandler. Today is the start of the journey.
