I love true crime and investigative podcasts, so I was very interested in this story.  It&#39;s too bad that I couldn&#39;t get through more than 15 minutes of the first episode.  This podcast is terribly produced.  The sound quality is poor and the reporter&#39;s narration is monotone and amateurish.  It sounds as if she is reading to a child, very slow and almost mechanical.  You can hear the sounds her mouth makes (licking lips, etc.) and it really grossed me out.  It&#39;s difficult to make out what Shanara is saying in the interview clips.  I understand she is emotional, but they either needed to clean up and clarify the audio, or the reporter needed to recap what Shanara was saying.

Just Bad.

What an amazing story. To think that this actually happened breaks my heart.
