Obas Nenor

Israeli based Obas Nenor caught our collective eye last year with his “My Way Home” EP on Moodymann’s Mahogani Music. Although fresh to many ears he has been crafting music for close to two decades. His latest release is out on Nenorion, his own imprint, and to celebrate he has put together this mix for us.

On our recent trip to Japan we were lucky enough to run into a quite happy young man in downtown Shibuya. After a couple of beers and trip down the rabbit hole of dance music banter we realised we had a lot in common. Midori Aoyama is a local dance music promoter and DJ in Tokyo that has run his EUREKA! parties with the likes of Atjazz, Kyodai, Lay-Far and more. We asked him to take us on a bit of journey with some of his fav house records of late. Party time.

With regards to the website, we have had a number of amazing and passionate people help us out so far and we are starting to build a core group of legends that we refer to as the 6AM family. This mix is a reflection of the year thus far - some tracks provoking more emotions than others - yet still a selection to show how spoilt for choice we really are. Thanks to our good friend Simon Winkler over at THUMP for prompting us to put this bad boy together for their new radio show on FBi Click. Hope you all enjoy :)
