Join us in ranting about body shaming and censorship :). This was inspired by a Devin but Better video on the "golden nipple" trend that seems to be emerging. We delve into social media censorship, free the nipple, and our personal experiences with being policed for our bodies (particularly at work). We know everyone across gender and age can probably come up with an example or time when they were shamed, forced to change, or sexualized for just... existing. Nipples are not inherently sexual but they have become a marker of sexuality for some, leading to very gendered dress codes, harassment, and social acceptance of the previous things.
