Pause or Pay UK is a UK-wide cross-university action group led by students that emerged in April 2020 as a response to the disruption of studio-based learning by the pandemic. We also got into our own experiences studying fine art, BANK’s Fax-Back series, maintaining a creative network, the problems with university bureaucracy, the purposes of degree shows, and Jeff spends a lot of time reminiscing about his time in Germany. This week Rory &amp; Jeff discussed the annual 30works30days project by 12O Collective, and had an amazing chat with a few of the artists’ who took part. We also spoke about writing as art, clout chasing, failure, Jellyvamps, making art during a pandemic, and being brave on Instagram. 30works30days is a month-long project where participants are required to submit a new piece of work every day for the month of April, and we have participated every year since its inception so we’re starting Season 2 close to home 🎉 This episode originally aired as a livestream on our Instagram, @roryandjeff, where you can see the works we discussed and watch the livestream.
