If boys are better at learning science than girls do, what should theschools do?

淘宝搜索“长沙雅思”获取“雅思口语应急素材”

Supposedly, in order to offset this kind of imbalance, schools shoulddivide the students into different classes by gender and then apply differentteaching methodologies. But this could trigger the rage of the female students, since it could be viewed as a discriminative practice. The girls might have theconception that they are inferior to the boys, and then become even morediffident in science learning, which is a very heavy backfire. Hence, I believethe best way to deal with this situation is to leave it this way.

Which is better? Making decision as a groupor individually?

I think that very much hangs on what kindsof decisions we are talking about here. When it comes to personal decisionslike marriage, career, or shopping, one should have the say. Whereas if we needto make decisions for a group or a community, we must embrace collective intelligence. For example, when the NPC is going through thelegislation process, the representatives must have detailed and lengthy discussions toguarantee that all aspects of the issues are considered. So, in a nutshell, wehave to be flexible.

Who liketo chat more? Men or women?

Apparently, women are more talkative than men. Actually I do have some female friends whoare basically chatterboxes. If you do not interrupt them, they can go on and onforever. And I am not exaggerating here. But on the other hand, men are ingeneral more composed and prudent about what they say. It seems to me that inalmost all cultures men are supposed to honour his words and that a man thattalks too much would be considered not trustworthy and womanish. I think theroot of such difference comes from evolution. Ancient men out there huntingmust remain silent all the time lest they got noticed by their preys, whilewomen gathering fruits had heaps of time to shoot the breeze with each other. Yearafter year, nature selected the genes.
