Max & Lisa: Prayer and What to Do When People Ask for Prayer

Someone sent in a comment based on Episode 19 (The End of Sadness) that "Jesus wept" and used this as proof that even Jesus was sad and wept. In this episode, I read from the King James bible to put "Jesus wept" into context and use it as a demonstration of what comes next: action, command, certainty and the authority of Christ. Jesus may have wept but 2 seconds later, he's raising Lazarus from the dead which is not what most people do in sadness, 2 seconds later. Enjoy.

Sadness is a really bad neighborhood to hang out in. Don't set up camp there and settle in. In this episode, Lisa Natoli talks about what to do when you experience sadness and how to move out of it and also what to do when other people around you are sad and keep telling the same story over and over. You have the power and ability to move out of every energy field and every emotion, by your choice and your decision.

You are Christ, appearing as you (insert your name). In this episode, Lisa Natoli talks about the end of the idea of "being a channel" for love. YOU ARE LOVE. You're not extending love. That's only a first step. Many people say when they are extending light and love that they "are just the messenger" and that's a great leap from holding grievances, but there is another step where you become the love you are extending. Then there is no "you" that's extending. Then only Love IS extending and there is no you there. You are simply no longer blocking this love and light with fear, grievances, attack thoughts, shame, blame, guilt. Now the light is simply just flowing, and you're not blocking.

Your thoughts are very powerful. There are no such thing as idle thoughts. When you hold a grievance, it has an effect - even if you never speak of it or say a word to anyone! The way to dissolve uncomfortable emotions is stand still and face them directly. Find out the message they are trying to show you.

If you are having difficulties in your life, chances are good that you are not entirely in your body. Many spiritual students use spiritual ideas to try to transcend the body, and then wonder why their life doesn't work. This is a path about wholeness. When you are in the body, present, alert, you can more easily see the blocks and obstacles in your thoughts and beliefs that need to corrected and replaced with the truth. When you try to "leave" the body, these thoughts and beliefs go uncorrected and unchecked and even though you think you have transcended they are still there and eventually show up as symptoms and problems.
