The Stories From The Land Podcast series is a collection of Indigenous community sourced stories that connect Indigenous Peoples to place with the aim of reinforcing worldview, philosophies &amp; teachings through storytelling.

I really love these stories. I’m not Canadian and have no Indigenous heritage at all. I do read a lot of histories and stories, but so many are from colonial reports or white settlers translating. 

Things like this (and indigenous accounts of history like The Indian History of the Modoc Wat) are important because they show stories of the present and the past and I wish the public had more exposure to this.
