But we came to learn, and teach it does. Take notes if you&#39;re coming in on a whim, it takes you deeply in Marxism like you purchased the textbooks yourself.

Boring as hell

Some of the speakers make reference to Gorbachev, indicating the 1988 reference point of these lectures. This is is only a problem in certain places when the speakers talk about fixed and transitory capital. One speaker state something to the effect of (Im paraphrasing)  &#34;If Marx was right and we were to only view capital in a transitory state, then it would be ridiculous to do business in America, and we would see a massive movement of corporations overseas to find the cheapest sources of labor.Obviously this is not the case&#34;. Obviously this is the case in the globalized, free trade world of the 21st century; which may lead some to argue the Marxism is not nearly as dead as these lectures portray it.  

Other than being a little dated, the lectures were very solid and informative. I recommend them highly.
