Se potesse raccontare il legame con il suo creatore, ma anche tutte le avventure vissute dal 1504 a oggi? È quello che ha provato a immaginare la scrittrice Natasha Solomons che ricostruisce la storia della Gioconda attribuendole una forte personalità ma soprattutto una voce. Nella seconda parte parliamo di "Leggere possedere vendere bruciare" di Antonio Franchini (Marsilio). Un libro sui libri, su quello che c'è dietro i libri perché è stato scritto da uno dei grandi editor della narrativa italiana, scopritore di Paolo Giordano e Roberto Saviano, oggi direttore editoriale di Giunti e Bompiani. Franchini intreccia ricordi personali (per esempio il rapporto con il padre), ricordi professionali e aneddoti, per raccontare il proprio rapporto con i libri, ma anche per far luce sul sistema cha va dalla selezione di un "manoscritto", al lavoro sul testo per finire con la vendita.

Natasha Solomons is the author of Mr Rosenblum’s List, which was published in Australia in April. It is her first novel and is based partly on her grandparents’ story of leaving Germany and settling in England before WWII. The novel has been very well received and is already published in 9 languages. Natasha is currently working on the screen adaptation with her husband, fellow screenwriter David Solomons.
