Brandie Carlos is the founder of Therapy for LatinX. A database of resources, practitioners, and Latinx who share their stories of mental health, healing, and advocacy. The pain of the loss of a close friend led Brandie to seek therapy. However, she couldn't find a website for the LatinX community so she decided to build her own!  Brandie has had an entrepreneur spirit even as a little girl who she credits her grandma for. Brandie Carlos es la fundadora del sitio web Therapy for LatinX. El sitio ofrece una base de datos para encontrar terapeutas que son parte de la comunidad latina.    Desafortunadamente Brandie sufrió una experiencia muy grave cuando su amigo se quitó la vida. Esta tragedia la llevó en búsqueda de un terapeuta, prefiriendo un terapeuta latino. Lamentablemente no había ningún sitio web con esta información. Con esta frustración Brandie puso manos a la obra en construir su propio sitio, Therapy for LatinX.   En este episodio nos plactica cómo heredó la inspiración de ser emprendedora de su abuelita. Y cómo en una etapa de su vida Brandie se hizo cargo de su casa y de su hermano menor mientras terminaba la escuela secundaria.
