As she grew up on the Standard American Diet, she began to learn about the plight of animals on factory farms, leading her to adopt a plant-based diet. Her goal was to recreate a traditional corned beef &amp; make it from beets, chickpeas, tomatoes, &amp; high protein wheat. She then produced her Corn’d Beef Reubans for Delis, Whole Foods, and Shark Tank. She then started making turkey and steak slices (coming soon).Alec Ford [28:26]He has more than 30 years of experience in the genomics, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, leading him to join Karius in 2020 and push them into their next growth phase.
