Author/Lawyer Teri Kanefield is back and we had a lot to discuss! Last night's presidential debate was unlike anything we've ever seen. Teri and I go through Trump's bombastic behavior and that he didn't do himself any favors. Teri reminds us Trump wants to be seen as a strongman but he isn't one, and Democratic voters have to be careful not to give more power by panicking or assuming the worst. Other topics: Should Biden expand the courts; how dangerous is Amy Coney Barrett? And what's the best voting plan?
Teri Kanefield is back with her unique, outstanding commentary on what's happening in the Trumpian nightmare. First, we begin with Teri's Twitter thread on Mary Trump's book, and then we tie it in with Trump's current behavior, specifically focusing on the decision to deploy federal troops in Oregon and now possibly Chicago. Teri breaks it all down and warns against panic. She says our panic can actually helpTrump. As usual, Teri's thoughtful take on the craziness and mayhem makes it a little easier to endure.

Author and lawyer Teri Kanefield returns to discuss one of her illumination and informative Twitter threads about oligarchy v. democracy. She explains why it's important to understand why we cannot asses Trump in the same way we'd assess Obama or even George W. Bush. Trump is not looking to run a healthy democracy, he's trying to create an oligarchy. Writing him off as an idiot is dangerous because he is accomplishing his goal. But there's good news! He hasn't succeeded, and as long as we're armed with facts and don't allow ourselves to give in to the doomsday scenario, Trump will lose in November. This conversation is so important because it comes from a measured and informed perspective.
