I met Peter over 10 years ago when I was training as an actor and he was working at the acting school. Peter Blackburn is a Melbourne-based theatre and film maker with roughly 30 productions to his name after returning to the industry just 10 years ago, who has recently opened his own actor-training studio having taught at many of the leading training institutions in Australia including the VCA, NIDA, 16th Street and the National Theatre Drama School. He has a wealth of experience when it comes to the industry and also a very generous and open heart. He shared a lot about his own personal experiences and his journey of self discovery as an artist. Recent productions include StupidF*cking Bird (2017), Next Fall (2017), Philtrum (2018), Grace (Adelaide FringeFestival, MICF, Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, 2018), The Trial ofDorian Gray (2019) and the short film Pilgrimage (2019). In winter 2019, Petermounted three productions: Almost, Maine (2019), A Town Named War Boy(2019) You Are the Blood (2019).
