SHOW NOTES  Christopher Algea is originally from Memphis, TN where he grew up on a small farm while also engaging in business whenever the chance arose. Christopher started working in restaurants at a young age which led him eventually to a restaurant in Boulder that introduced him to quinoa while working and going to school at CU Boulder. One thing led to another, and with the help of great friends, mentors and family, Keen One Foods was born which currently makes quick cooking organic meals that are primarily quinoa based along with running a wholesale import and manufacturing business for ingredient sourcing and food service needs. Christopher serves on the Board of Naturally Boulder and is chair of Morning Mingles and co-chair of membership. He is honored to be able to give back, however, he can to an organization that has really helped nourish Keen One while also meeting life long friends that are invaluable assets to him personally now as well. Christopher is an outdoor enthusiast and loves traveling, skiing, hiking, fishing, cycling, riding motorcycles, while cooking and fine dining with friends are still favorites too!
