Ron Hubbard Achievement Awards Event at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood, California earning her The Golden Pen Award trophy and a cash prize of $5,000.  Barbara was paired with artist and Illustrators of the Future winner, Mr. Will Knight of Los Angeles, California and this is the illustration Will created for Barbara's story, "Sixers".
