You can start by improving your communication skills so you can land and keep your dream job. There are likely places in your community (social clubs, book clubs, community colleges, continuing education groups, etc.) where workshops in communication, public speaking and improv can be your ticket to improving these essential skills. There may also be local chapters of organizations such as Toastmasters International in your area. These are great ways to begin to sharpen your social skills as well as increase your own personal and professional networks. Invest time in yourself.
