In this episode of the Startup Soiree Podcasts, Patrick talks with Hua Wang and Eric Gapud of SmartBridge.  Hua Wang and Eric Gapud are the founders of SmartBridge, which is an online platform that connects businesses with top health and life science professionals on a freelance basis. Hua Wang is both a Duke University graduate and Northwestern University School of Law graduate. Before attending law school, she worked for Lehman Brothers as a banking analyst and for Accenture as a strategy consultant. Prior to creating SmartBridge, Wang was an investment funds lawyer at K&amp;L Gates and Proskauer, an in-house counsel at Cisco Systems, and a Global Scholar at the Kauffman Foundation. Wang was awarded 2nd Place at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Free Enterprise Hackathon and she was also a United States Presidential Scholar. She has contributed to the MIT Entrepreneurship Review and was a recipient of the American Bar Association Legal Opportunity Scholarship.Eric Gapud attended the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he recieved his M.D. as well as a Ph.D. in Molecular Immunology.
