207: FLOW through Life with Rae Roach

ENJOY THIS EPISODE: Rae Roach considers Oklahoma her home but she has lived in 9 states in her lifetime. Rae had always used her intellect to guide her way but it wasn’t Rae Roach until she began to find herself between a rock and a hard place that she needed to use her heart to guide the way. Rae found herself lost. She didn’t know quite who she was and began a journey of clarity and feeding her wondering soul. She came across an organization called Empowered Women International (EWI) and soon found herself pitching a newfound idea for a retreat to help women. She won the pitch and began taking EWI’s 6 month class to fuel her success, thus Women Helping Women Retreats was born. Women Helping Women Retreats is about reconnection. It is where like-minded women build a community together. They connect through their stories and learn to become inner connected to their mind, body and souls. The retreat is about healing and achieving a sense of peace and clarity. With Rae’s passion for helping others she invited her friend Valerie, to join her.  Together and through Women Helping Women Retreats allows one to reconnect with their feminine energy. Rae truly believes she has a voice and a message that will help, guide, inspire and motivate other women to stay true to themselves while navigating the negative roadblocks life throws at us. The premise for Women Helping Women Retreats grew from her desire to help women experiencing similar obstacles, who are struggling to make ends meet while raising their children. Rae has always believed in the holistic approach but it wasn’t until she began to find herself again, by first eliminating the negative energy around her and then by surrounding herself with women whose sole interest was to encourage, uplift, educate and empower did she realize that she finally discovered her purpose and passion in life. Valerie had turned to Rae when facing her own personal struggles and found strength in Rae’s wisdom and positive outlook. Their bond has grown over the years and they continue to be a positive influence for each other.
