Darren Kennedy's The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets
This week on The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets my very special guest is nation's favourite Amy Huberman. Actress and writer Amy, talked to me about her cute pooch Phoebe who she and her family got just before lockdown in 2020. Phoebe is an unofficial star of her Amy Instagram page so make sure you go and check it out. Maybe Phoebes and Harry need to pencil in a post pandemic doggy date? A canine can never have too many pals. In this episode we talked about Amy's first doggy heartbreak, how her children first reacted when Phoebe was brought home, her mum's very unusual wedding present and lots more. We hope you enjoy our chat! The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets hosted by me, Darren Kennedy. Each week, we’ll go behind the closed doors of some famous faces and into the pampered world of celebrity pets. Make sure you hit subscribe wherever you get your podcasts so you never miss an episode. It would also really help us grow if you left a positive review and gave us five stars too. If you have any questions for Darren or would like to suggest a future guest, leave it in the comment section and we'll do our very best to get back to you. Thanks for listening! Until next Sunday, bye for now

'Around the Grounds' with Amy Huberman - my new bestie but you may know her as the Irish actress and writing superstar...
So, I Quit My Day Job
Today’s guest on 'Around the Grounds' is Irish actress and author Amy Huberman. Look to be honest she is totally cool and I never expected to ever get her on the podcast. I ended up getting her on after some incredible investigative journalism on my part... or you could call it stalking. However you look at it she agreed to come on for a chat and I am so bloody chuffed she did. Before you listen, and if you are not familiar with Amy, or her work, she is an incredibly talented writer and actress. She has shared the screen with the likes of Andrew Scott (aka The Hot Priest in Fleabag), Martin Sheen, Chris Dowd, as well as appearing along side James Nesbit in the British hit show Cold Feet. But I came across Amy while watching Finding Joy (available on ABC iview in Australia). I laughed so much watching the show a bit of wee came out...sorry TMI. BUT not only does this incredible woman star in the show (along with the hilarious Aisling Bea), she also wrote it. She is funny, talented, bloody gorgeous, has held hands under the table with Amy Poehler but according to Amy her husband Brian O'Driscoll has nicer feet than her's, proving no one is perfect. Check out Finding Joy and follow her on Instagram you wont regret it. Now enough of my girl crushing and on with the show… Instagram @Amy_huberman'Finding Joy' ABC iView in Australia See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Welcome to our 400th episode! We never imagined when we started the podcast back in September 2015 that we'd still be here 400 episodes later telling women's stories and delving into the issues that are important to us. Over those nearly five years we've had many well known guests such as Margaret Atwood, Samantha Power, Marian Keyes and Caitlin Moran. In today's special ep we are joined by actor, writer and all-round joy bringer Amy Huberman. Amy (and more than 250 of our closest friends) came for the Zoom chats last Saturday night and told us about lockdown life with her kids (and BOD!), the fearlessness that comes with getting older and the "hot tools" every woman needs in a pandemic. Now that we're 400 we also thought it was about time we joined Instagram, so tune in to this episode to find out how following us on insta @itwomenspodcast could land you a gorgeous hamper of chocolate from our sponsors Green & Blacks. Thanks for staying with us these 400 episodes. And here's to the next 400!
