This week we were joined on The PEAKS Life by Dr Sanjeev Balakrishnan.Sanjeev holds a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore. He is very passionate about management of obesity, type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome through healthy eating. He is an advocate for the scientifically proven low carbohydrate-high healthy fat diet  Sanjeev is a GP with two decades of clinical experience. He graduated in 1999 and completed his training in family medicine in Singapore. He is a fully credentialed Family Physician in Singapore and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. As a family physician, Based in Perth Western Australia he has been recommending a low carbohydrate diet to all his patients.. He discovered the scientific benefits of a low-carb diet from Dr Andreas Eenfeldt in 2011 when he was looking for new and better ways to manage his patients with diabetes, and has never looked back since.
