An advocate of contemporary music, she tours frequently as a soloist and chamber musician. She is currently on the faculty of the New England Conservatory and is a founding member of Music for Food, an initiative by musicians to fight hunger in their home countries. Speaker Biography: Pianst Péter Nagy grew up as a child prodigy in Hungary and studied at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He tours as a chamber musician and orchestral soloist, appearing with ensembles such as the Tokyo Symphony, Helsinki Philharmonic and Hungarian Radio Symphony. In the U.S., he has toured widely with violist Kim Kashkashian, and has appeared at the Ojai and Marlboro Festivals.
