Len Fridman was laid off from his corporate job in 2009 after nearly a decade, and upon doing a bit of soul searching, he decided to pursue his passion for fitness instead of continuing on in "corporate life." He started a small boot camp business in a local park which quickly went on to become the most successful outdoor program in Canada in multiple cities. Eventually, a need/business frustration presented itself on the software side, which then led him to his Co-Founder Sasha Davids, who promptly jumped onboard. They started out small but have now scaled to where WellnessLiving is now quietly powering 5,000 studios, and were recognized by Deloitte in the Fast 500 and Fast 50 in Canada. Len was able to bring on Don Williams, their Chief Revenue Officer after recently securing a $66M investment from McCarthy Capital. With a team of 354 strong and growing, WellnessLiving is able to create amazing tools with the sole goal of helping fitness studios continue to expand. He loves giving back to the community as well. WellnessLiving is behind the extremely successful Stand with Studios grant program. Len Fridman is a fitness business expert and successful entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of WellnessLiving, a leading business management software company tailored for the wellness and fitness sector. Len began his journey back in 2009 when he started a local boot-camp in his neighborhood park that soon grew into multiple locations across the country. He teamed up with businesses across North America to create the MetaBody Yoga and Fitness Pass, with upwards of 60,000 active clients at its peak. In the midst of Len’s success, he realized there was a lack of reliable, cost-effective business management software in the market. He decided to start his own bootcamp transforming lives through fitness. As he became more successful, Len began to train more clients, recruit new instructors, and the community expanded very quickly. He discovered some ‘secrets’ for filling his bootcamps with creative marketing campaigns so in 2012 he created a system to help other fitness businesses fill their group classes. Before he knew it, his new marketing business began to grow even more serving fitness businesses all over Canada and the USA.Len and his business partner Sasha began to focus on helping studio owners to solve more problems with scheduling, collecting payments, and more. This evolved their fitness marketing business into a software company and WellnessLiving was officially born.
