"Eckhart Tolle Answers My Question About Death"

I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in a workshop led by Eckhart Tolle on Winter Solstice on December 2020. I wanted to hear about his take about how we should manage our emotions around this much death and suffering around times of pandemic. I can't think of any other joy than having him quote my all time favorite book: The Little Prince. Enjoy this treat.

Nathan is joined by Marc Kate and Chad Lott from "Scary Thoughts Podcast" to discuss Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now."

Unless you've been stuck in a Twitter flame war for the last 20 years, you will know about Tolle's bestselling spiritual treatise. But is it a classic or a self-help rip off?  We discuss the book, it's flaws and strengths and come to some new conclusions.

We also discover Marc and Chad's meditation practices, the effect of nihilism and find out what Eckhart Tolle and Charles Manson have in common.

Saving the Planet through Consciousness & Compassion (discussing A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle)

We intentionally wanted to share this episode the day after the election, as I'm sure many of us are struggling with uncomfortable feelings of anger, disappointment and uncertainty. After reading the book, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle, Madeleine and I discuss how the concepts presented in this book helped us to clarify our own faith and spirituality by grounding us in the present moment and reminding us of our connection to all living things.

If you're looking for some guidance on how to experience more peace and compassion moving forward - no matter what the outcome or who you were supporting for president - we encourage you to give this a listen and, as always, let us know what you took away from it.
