Politics vs Spirituality

Marianne shares the significance of the consciousness shift of the 21st century. This will determine the sustainability of life on earth in the next 50 years. It’s the transition from individualism to collectivism. An integration of our interconnectedness to the rest of the world. We can no longer remain disconnected from our politics. If we don’t do politics - politics will do us. This is no longer a matter of choice. It’s a matter of evolution. If we don’t evolve our spirituality and our politics, Marianne shared her conviction, the human species will die.

“At a certain point, you will not be on the path alone, for you will be joined by mighty companions.”

Conscious Capitalism

We are here to heal and repair the world. Averting yourself away from compassion to avoid politics is what you call the new “capitalist spirituality”. Enlightened societies have both capitalism and socialism elements. Education, healthcare and economic opportunity allow hard working citizens to achieve their dreams.

“There’s no serious spiritual tradition that gives us a pass on the suffering of other sentient beings.”

Activate Your Spirit & Serve Life

Jesus didn’t say “love yourself”. He said to “Love Each Other”. The best version of ourselves is actually the worst version of ourselves... If it doesn't include the version of our self extended into the public domain. We’re here to serve. We’re not indispensable. It’s vitally important to have an internal guidance system. Remember that you take care of the future by fully living in the present.

“Spiritual conviction is understanding that you only get to keep what you give to others.”

Power & Love

There is flow and synergy between love and power. Between divine masculinity and the divine feminine. Both elements are equally important. There is a dynamic power to the masculine and magnetic power to the feminine. As Martin Luther King put it:

“Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.”

Wage Peace

Wage peace. Wow. Marianne goes deep. Tune in and learn about the four statistical indicators that will show a higher incident of peace within a community. She believes that addressing the suffering of others should be our core political and spiritual mission. That’s just the beginning of how we wage peace.

“War is the absence of peace, peace is not the absence of war.”

Trust me, you're NOT alone. NYT Bestselling Author @MarianneWilliamson says you'd be crazy if you WEREN'T feeling anxiety right now. For Marianne, anxiety isn't bad. It's a human acknowledgement of trauma, and a signal that it's time for us to make changes in our lives.

Marianne says that our country is having a "crisis of adulthood" and that this pandemic, while immensely challenging, may just be the earth-shattering event to wake us up, and move us from a position of self-contentedness to empathy and action.

Today, the AIDS crisis is under control in the United States. However, in the 1980s, it was an epidemic where many died. Most people didn’t understand how it transmitted and where it came from.

Protest from New York City in 1983 Asking for Research instead of Demonization

Instead of compassion, patients were on the receiving of demonization and moralization. Some people believed that these patients deserved AIDS because many were gay. It was jokingly called, “the gay plague.” Also, the White House ignored it precisely for that reason. Today, Marianne Williamson, author, activist and former presidential candidate joins us to talk about Project Angel Food, a non-profit that has delivered more than 12 million meals to ill and dying homebound patients since 1989. The group was created to help people suffering from the ravages of HIV/AIDS.
