Ideas

1

More important than learning how to do something, is learning how to teach yourself how to do something.
In the moment, we're often so focused on just getting something done that we prioritize doing it even if it means being given the answer, rather than learning how to do it ourselves.

In the short term, the outcome is the same, you get something done, but over the long term, you learn the invaluable superpower of teaching ourself how to do new things.

When one door closes another door opens. But just because it opens, doesn't mean we see it.
Often we spend most of our attention and time thinking about the closed door, that we don't see the new ones that have opened for us.

In all circumstances, there are more doors for us to open, but we must make sure we look for them, and then walk through them when the opportunity comes.

3

We underestimate our capacity to reinvent & adapt ourselves.
What differentiated early humans from other species was our unique ability to adapt to different conditions.

Now, we're able to live in both hot and cold conditions, high altitudes as well as sea level, we're constantly finding new ways to adjust and adapt.
