A master doesn't just do the advanced things well, they do all the beginner things well.
Too often, when we're trying to become great, we only focus on the special things that great people do, without realizing that the most common attribute of all those that are great, is their perfection of the fundamentals.

One of the best basketball coaches, ed each season with his new players, showing them how to properly wear their socks and tie their shoe laces, in order to avoid blisters which would affect their games.

You don't have to be loud to be a leader, lead by example.
Actions speak louder than words. The people around you see what you're doing, and your attitude and habits are naturally infectious to those around you.

You don't have to be the guy giving a motivational speech to be a leader, giving motivational performances day in day out, will influence people far further & deeper.

Realizing that you're always going to have some level of regret or self-doubt, helps you deal with it better.
When things go well, there are always ways you could've made more of the opportunity to do better, and when things go poorly, there are always mistakes you could've avoided.

And in any decision, there are always ways to doubt yourself.

Realizing that this is just a part of everything we're doing relieves us of trying to completely get rid of it.
