I have known BlackRock is a huge financial firm but I did not know what they really did so I was not sure how a Podcast from them for average Podcast consumers would be but was very pleasantly surprised. The Podcast addresses topics that are both relevant and interesting financial topics and does so without being intimidating or making you feel like you need to be a part of the Wall Street club to listen and understand. I will definitely be subscribing.

From companies like Alibaba and Tencent to artificial intelligence and the development of 5G technology, China has become one of the most vibrant hubs for technology in the world. How did China become a technology superpower, and how will the race move forward? On this episode of The BID, Rui Zhao, portfolio manager for Chinese equities, discusses the forces behind China’s technology dominance, and why the tech race may not need a winner.

Money is ranked the #1 source of stress in people’s lives, higher than physical health, work or family. But while we’re often willing to talk about the rest of these stressors, money is surrounded by taboo. How can we turn this concept into something approachable and part of cultural conversation?

The key: Making wealth a part of our overall picture of well-being. On this episode of The BID, Chief Marketing Officer Frank Cooper discusses why starting the conversation and taking small steps around our wealth can have benefits not just for the future, but also for our well-being today.
