In Episode 14 I interview my dear friend Cal AmirBio: Cal started his career as a leveraged buyouts investment banker in New York City. Although he considered this his dream job at the time, he decided to leave just before the financial collapse of 2008 to travel around the world for a year. After visiting almost 30 countries and experiencing tremendous personal growth, Cal became passionate about fostering relationships and meaningful conversations. He spent the following year studying Japanese, philosophy, art and science then started a consulting company advising businesses on strategy, partnerships, operations and finance. He also executive produced a film about marriage from a women’s perspective in India - which won the Best Director for a Documentary award at the TriBeCa Film Festival in 2017.

Being a great a friend isn’t about perfect or living up to some crazy ideal of a person who is totally selfless and puts everyone else before them. That’s called being nuts or unbalanced.Being a great friend just means you’re willing to put in the work and grow together.
