I have been listening for 10 years and this is consistently the best Civil War podcast ive encountered. Excellent guests and meaningful interviews.

Rambles a bit

Spends the first 15 minutes rambling about his own interests. Sometimes goes on a tangent away from the book. Gerry is a little pretentious at times. So you went to Hahvahd! Now he is claiming a book that lists temperatures from the 1860’s gives solid proof of global warming and a sick child should make us question religion. Won’t be wasting any more time with this clown. Gary Gallagher on one week and still he won’t stop talking about himself!
