Jim's delivery makes my blood pressure go up! I wish he weren't so emotional and volatile. I think I would prefer the show with just Laura and Lisa.

The RCP deep dive the case of Kathleen Peterson and discuss the Netflix original documentary "The Staircase."  In 2004, filmmaker Jean-Xavier de Lestrade debuted "The Staircase" as an eight-part mini-series which examined the case of Michael Peterson, a novelist who was accused of murdering his wife Kathleen after she was found dead at the bottom of a staircase in their Durham, North Carolina home. In 2012 a further two hours were shot  from Peterson's and the defence teams perspective detailing the aftermath of the trial and turning it into a 13 hour docu-series. Was it an accident or was she murdered? Our expert team weigh in, starting as they always do, with the victimology. #HerNameWasKathleenPeterson This Episode of Real Crime Profile is brought to you by Gobble Get $50 off of your first box from Gobble by visiting Gobble.com/RealCrime

In this controversial episode the #RCP team discuss Netflix's latest docuseries The Keepers about the unsolved murder of Sister Cathy Cesnik, a beloved nun and Catholic high school teacher in Baltimore. After disappearing on Nov. 7, 1969, Cathy's body was found nearly two months later but to this day, the case remains unresolved. Only days later Joyce Malecki disappeared from a shopping mall on Nov. 11 1969 in Glen Burnie, a suburb of Baltimore. Her body was found the next day face down in remote woods. This case also remains unresolved.  In the '90s, the case returned to the spotlight after one of Cathy's former students accused the high school's chaplain of sexual abuse, and claims that she was taken to Cathy's body and threatened.  Jim and Laura deep dive into these murders and discuss with Lisa the victimology, their crime scene assessment and analysis and opine as to whether the murders of Sister Cathy Cesnick and Joyce Malecki are linked. #HerNameWasCathy #HerNameWasJoyce New to Real Crime Profile?
