Two observations on this subject: 1) Trump has been accusing anyone and everyone of treason in an unveiled attempt to normalize it for later. Like everyone caught red handed, just claim everyone does it. 2) The Cough: the cough was timed just as Trump was telling another whopper, fantastic financial statement. It’s pretty common for people to fake a cough when a known lie is being made. Trump sensed that.
