So, it’s been a busy old week recording the NSNO Everton podcast, and today we bring you the Questions from the Forum special. Oumar Niasse is – rightly – the hot topic of the moment, and our forum users’ questions reflect that. So, sit back and enjoy a casual discussion on whether it’s OK to wear a football shirt with a player’s name on the back as an adult, and everyone express their love for Sweet Price Oumar Niasse. You can get your question or point addressed by using the NSNO Everton forums, or by Tweeting us @nsno.

Rank #2: The podcast where we wonder what £99 gets you on a stadium tour

So, the parents were back from holiday and rejoined the rest of the podcast cast to talk all things Everton. We start off with the wins over Sunderland and Bournemouth and – of course- the impact that the “Sweet Prince” Oumar Niasse has made for the Blues. The question of the number 10 – or the three number 10’s – comes up and is, naturally, answered in the usual NSNO style. There is also the issue of the new stadium tour that Everton have launched recently, costing £99 plus VAT.

Rank #4: Atalanta Review podcast

Podcast cover
Read more

A bit later than expected, but that’s what happens when “the parents” go away – the boys, minus Si and Bally, review the Atalanta game. Ste, John and Jack talk about the reasons behind the Atalanta defeat and look ahead to Bournemouth, which we’ve already watched, but they hadn’t, at the time. Did they get the predictions right for the Bournemouth game? They’ve been pretty quiet this weekend, so who knows?

Rank #5: Everton Podcast: The One with the golfball….

A full compliment of NSNO podcast staff were present for the recording of the newest instalment at the new NSNO towers. Si, Jack, John, Ste, & Bally like the troopers they are all arrived, albeit slightly windswept at the new NSNO towers to talk about all things Everton related since the international break,  the gentlemen discuss the transfer window including a depressing post Tottenham review followed by what can only be described as  very concerned previews of the Atalanta and Manchester United game. As always the “football chat” is interjected with the inane humour that you should now all be accustomed to.

Rank #6: The questions podcast – Episode Two?

Podcast cover
Read more

Maybe last week was episode two?  But it was the big long one, so this one can be number two, where the boys from the NSNO Everton podcast answer the questions put to them by listeners. We tried to come up with a fun one-word solution to mean “forum, Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp” but as you’ll hear, we failed. You do get to hear a few moans about Ronald Koeman though….flame away!

Rank #7: Everton Transfer Activity Ep2

With very little in the way of actual transfer business going on at Everton when we’d recorded the podcast, we chat about who we wish would come to the Blues. Alexis Sanchez, apparently. Well, we can talk about Diego Costa, so why not?!

Rank #8: Four match footy cast

Podcast cover
Read more

After a week long break, the full cast of the NSNO Everton Podcast return to discuss the four matches that have taken place since our last broadcast. Both ties against Hajduk Split – including a lesson from Ste in how to say it – the draw at City and the forgettable, lamentable, defeat at Chelsea are all discussed. In a new format of labelling our podcasts, and because we can’t remember where we’re up to (plus Bally is a huge fan of Friends) then we’re going to call this one “The one where we talked about loads of football, and some crowd trouble.” Catchy isn’t it?

This week the fellas record in a brand new NSNO Towers and bring to you such disappointment, like the fact we didn’t do a post stoke review before the actual game was played because everything they said actually happened.  Questions from the forum and twitter which went on a little longer than expected, an actual post Stoke analysis, Pre HiDuck Split and a very brief City preview All in a slightly extended edition

Rank #10: The Episode where someone said they wanted Andy Carroll at Everton…

Podcast cover
Read more

As far as breaks go, a week is a short time in NSNO Everton Podcast history, but we did it! We’re back with another episode and we even managed to retain two of our new signings, although we sent the other one on loan to get some more experience at speaking. The boys chat about the last pre-season friendly, a goal by Sandro, and “someone” says they think “a player like” Andy Carroll could do a job at Everton. There’s the questions from Twitter, and as in-depth an analysis of a game against Stoke that anyone wants to do.
