Rank #2: 64: Tap Into YOUR INNER BADASS with Jen Sincero
Jen Sincero is a New York Times bestselling author, success coach, and motivational cattle prod who has helped countless people transform their personal and professional lives via her seminars, public appearances, newsletters, products and books. In 2011, she gave up her home in California to travel the planet indefinitely, encouraging as many people as possible “to live lives of unbridled awesomeness.” She is currently staying in New Mexico. Starting out as a freelance writer and “broke as joke” as she called it, she knew there was so much more for her to be doing on this earth and so much more money to be making, on this earth. “After decades of struggling and getting jobs here and there, I finally focused my energy on making money because it just wasn't happening for me.” It’s never too late to learn lessons, and Jen finally learned that actually focusing on a goal and taking the necessary steps towards it, is the only way to achieve higher accomplishments. Sitting around and wishing for it to fall from the sky, will never happen (although that would be pretty cool.) Deciding to dive into self-help, money making and coaching books, she devoted her time to understanding how it all can work for you, as long as your energy and effort is 100%. “That's how my book You Are a Badass happened. It was first me getting my act together and then teaching people how to get their act together.” She teaches us how to put off the opinions and judgements of others, no matter what. Getting uncomfortable with your situation is the #1 way to make things happen! “If you aren't ready to get uncomfortable, it’s not going to happen.” Our belief system can by our best friend or our worst night-mare. What we believe, is how we feel and how we feel then translates to how we act. “I had to change my thoughts about money and greed. I also how to change my beliefs about what people my think of me, especially my family.” Unsure on where to even begin, to find your inner badass? Becoming really clear with yourself and your personal goals is the easiest yet BIGGEST first step you can take. It’s about the willingness to be able to step away from the old “norm,” to create yourself one BADASS life. Rank #7: 155: How To Trust YOURSELF with Rebecca Campbell
Subscribe to Earn Your Happy on iTunes. If you feel the need or calling to spend more time and connect with your soul, today’s heart-warming conversation with author and soulful teacher, Rebecca Campbell, is just the ticket. With an early fascination around the world of spirituality, souls and past lives, Rebecca had always felt a little “weird.” Not because she enjoyed these things, but because others were uncomfortable with it. And so from that young age, she seemingly led a double life – one that was “normal” with her school-aged friends and the other with a group of older, wise women who taught her about the healing arts and the power of intuitive arts. Rebecca always knew she wanted to create (writing, designing etc.), so following that path, she pursued the “normal” career in advertising. She had a very successful career as a creative director, but after experiencing a great period of loss, Rebecca knew she wanted to do more with all those little “soul whispers” that tugged at her heart. With the pipes and structures literally crumbling around her and navigating through her grief, Rebecca began to finally answer this calling and began to write what soon became her first book, Light Is the New Black, followed by Rise Sister Rise. She is grateful for all the life events that led her to where she is today and truly believes that this is the exact path she was meant to take. It is her hope that her story encourages you all to follow the “different path” if you feel so called – even if it happens in baby steps to reach your goals. “The dots always join in the end and nothing is ever wasted.” -- Questions Asked in This Episode • How did you get in touch with your inner wild woman to be who you are now? • Did you have to reframe while you were going through that journey? • What did surrendering to your soul look like? • Is there a way to answer the soul’s calling without hitting rock-bottom? • What do you say to someone who doesn’t know who they are? • How do you feel about women and sisterhood, and why is it important? • What do you when you feel like you’ve been put in a box as a “good girl?” • What has been the toughest thing you’ve had to let go of in order to step into your authentic self? In This Episode You Will Learn: • About the importance of listening to your head vs. your heart • How to develop a devotional and spiritual practice • How to surrender to your soul’s calling • Why you need to listen to your “soul whispers” and the importance of connecting to them • The commonalities between the seasons of life and nature • About doing work with other women in sync with monthly cycles • The importance of ancestral roots and why you must trust your own power/intuition • Why you don’t have to be a “good girl” • And so much more… Quotes: “Often our soul’s calling is scary, but it was more uncomfortable and scary to stay where I was than it was to throw my life up in the air.” “Sometimes rock-bottom moments are beautiful opportunities to just do it.” “Alright, soul, you’re running the shop now.” “The voice of our soul/intuition is the part of us that is linked to the entire universe.” “Follow what lights you up.” “When we’re inspired, when we’re lit up, we’re in our spirit and in that rhythmic flow and in that surrendered space.” “When we connect in with our spirit, then we don’t have to work out every step of the way – we just have to move our feet.” “In order for something to rise within us, something needs to fall away to clear that space.” “When things are blooming, it’s just as good as when the leaves are falling.” “If we’re trying to fit in a box, the people who ARE your people won’t be able to see you.” “Trust the wisdom of your soul.” -- Rebec

Judgment is the root of so many problems and whether we’re judging others or ourselves, it’s so bad that we barely realize we’re doing it.

Rank #13: 122: Live Your KICKASS LIFE - How to LET GO of Blocks and SHAME with Andrea Owen
Andrea Owen is an author, mentor, and certified life coach who helps women get what they want by letting go of perfectionism, control, and isolation and choosing to practice courage instead. She has helped thousands of women manage their inner-critic to create loving connections and live their most kick-ass life. When she’s not juggling her full coaching practice and writing her second book, Andrea is busy competing in triathlons, chasing her 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter or making out with her husband, Jason. She’s also a retired roller derby player having skated under the name “Veronica Vain.” Around 2003, when Andrea was first exposed and becoming aware of life-coaches/coaching, she knew she’d found her path. Having lived a pretty “charmed” life as she called it, she wasn't sure how she could be a life coach without any extraordinary life circumstances or tragedies to be able to share and relate to. Having said that, a few short years later as Andrea and her then-husband were trying to have their first baby, she found out about his affair with the neighbor and a resulting pregnancy from that (talk about her first traumatic event! GEEZ!). Just when you think “what could be worse?” Andrea picked herself up and launched herself back into the dating world. Moving onto the next man who she thought was Mr. Right, she later found out about his addictive drug habits and how she had been conned out of more than $8,000 during their 9-month relationship. Oh, and she was pregnant. Looking back and telling her story with us, Andrea now shares how she believed this all may have come to be. “The common denominator of my circumstances was me. What was I attracting in my life? What had I tolerated? What had I ignored my intuition about?” Digging herself out of the rut like a strong, powerhouse woman would, Andrea skipped the “victim” role and instead went to taking radical responsibility for her life! (YOU GO GIRL!) Expressing her feelings about her rock-bottom years wasn’t easy, but Andrea found the message in all of her mess and shares with us some of the very first steps on how she started over. “I wrote down 10 things I was grateful for, and it was actually pretty easy. Despite a few things, let’s be honest…I still had a very privileged life.” Fun fact: You cannot be angry and grateful at the same time. No matter what has happened previously, you can’t let your past define you. Andrea is the perfect example of someone who has had hardship(s) in her life, but has still come out on top! You must envision your future. Draw it out, pray for it and hustle until it becomes your reality. “Controlling and perfectionism were two of my biggest nemesis, but I had to learn the balance between taking responsibility and also for letting go and self-compassion.” In This Episode You Will Learn About: Practice Courage Confidence Connecting Life Coaching Intuition Attracting Manifesting Gratitude Letting go Resources: 52 Ways to a Kick-Ass Life, by Andrea Owen 7 Day Courage Challenge If you’re ready to say HELL YES, go to yourkickasslife.com for more on Andrea! Rosie is also a proud ambassador for Yoga Journal, City Silence, Manduka, and Living Yoga. She has used her experience teaching her day to day students working in her community and has worked with elite Olympic athletes, NFL Champions, NBA All-Stars, At Risk Youth and Afghanistan Veterans. Most recently, she is working on a book about Yoga and Meditation. As Rosie mentions in her bio, she was raised in East LA in the 90’s. As you may not know, that was a high-time for gang violence in Los Angeles. “Reading and researching back to that time, there were about 450-500 different gangs around my area. I was raised in an environment of fear. Hearing gun shots daily, was a very normal thing.” Not only growing up in the pure neighborhood chaos, but Rosie was also personally raised in an alcoholic household. Not knowing at the time of course, but all of which has turned her into an insanely independent, radical human being! She takes us back to her days of stressful events, anxiety-ridden habits and her depressed surroundings. Like most of the kids/teens her age in the area, Rosie got caught up in drugs and alcohol, skipping class and unethical behavior. “I was quickly becoming a product of my environment.” At the young age of 6, Rosie witnessed her first drive by shooting. Having to self-regulate to calm her nerves, she reminisces on how she remembered her breathing technique in that moment and how it soon became a part of her daily habits. Having developed anxiety and panic attacks, this breathing-form became a norm…rapidly. Fast forwarding into her late-teens/early 20’s, Rosie took it upon herself to get healthy. No extra “push” no pressure, just the shear desire to be better. “A friend of mine suggested I run a marathon, but I hated running. I thought to myself 'The only time I remember running, was away from something…most likely the authority.'” Going to school full-time, working full-time and indulging herself, headfirst into yoga teacher training, Rosie was a busy young girl to say the least. Rosie’s whirl-wind background is extremely inspiring and powerful. She has made something out of nothing, and continues to go above and beyond in her life and work. “We are all born with limitless potential, we all have a place in this world, it is part of our journey to be radically curious, radically inspired and be radically loved.” In This Episode You Will Learn: Overcoming fear Curiosity Perseverance Trauma Anxiety Stress Depression Breathing technical Self regulation Meditation Yoga Resources: Rad

Rachel DeAlto is a relationship expert, coach, hypnotherapist, motivational speaker, author, and spokesperson. She believes that relationships are the foundation of everything, and it is essential to learn to navigate those relationships with great communication, a sense of perspective, and self-awareness. Rachel believes in the art of communication, and its inherent value in all aspects of your life. She developed her communications expertise through an undergraduate degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and later as a practicing trial attorney after receiving her Juris Doctorate at Seton Hall University School of Law. She has also received professional training as a certified coach through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) and is a certified hypnotherapist via the International Association Of Counselors & Therapists (IACT). Rachel is a featured relationship expert on FYI’s Married at First Sight and Second Chances. Rachel has also appeared on a multitude of media outlets and is also a frequent TEDx speaker. Coming from a law background, coaching one’s love life was kind of something that Rachel sort of “feel into.” Continuing her education to become a coach, Rachel once again went back to school, but this time for the polar-opposite subject…love. “Relationship coaching came from my natural desire to help people, as did being a lawyer” As one of my favorite topics to talk about (love and relationships) I got some juicy details out of Rachel! She opens up to us about frequently asked questions in her field along with helpful tips and advice to not only FIND love, but to KEEP love. As powerful women AND men, it’s important to know that “the more you are, the more you expect,” when it comes to finding the one. Understand that the “intimidation factor” is also real, it is very real ladies and gentlemen! Having it all and looking the part to match, isn’t always the easiest to approach. Finding love takes just as much effort on your end, as it does theirs. “I feel like expectations can kind-of be a killer. You can have desires, but don’t expect every man you meet to live up to them.” Rachel also shares with us one of the first steps she goes through with her clients. “I ask them what are the four things they look for in someone that they couldn't live without? I only give them four!” “No one is perfect, but it's more about finding someone who fits with you perfectly.” Looking to find love? Or maybe enhance your current relationship with some extra fire?!
