This show was one of my favorite health and wellness podcasts....... I’ve tried for the past year or so to hang in there but now that Stefanie is only on once in a while it’s not really worth listening to. Nicole’s ramblings are just too much to take and bordering on narcissistic.....the baby info has also gotten way too out of hand. This IS a women’s health podcast but there are a lot more issues out there regarding women’s health that do not pertain to pregnancy.... I hope the old format comes back!

Love the health info

OMAX
As most of you know, all omega-3 supplements are not created equal. There are huge issues in the industry with not only the source of omega-3s, but how they are extracted and the purity of what you’re taking. Omega-3s are very unstable, and the way most supplement companies extract the oils damage the fatty acids, which is not good.

Omega-3s are really important for brain health, which is why it’s so important for pregnant woman, it’s important for joint health, for focus and concentration, and of course they are anti-inflammatory. Omax3 is an ultra-pure, and exceptionally concentrated, omega-3 supplement. It is derived from the richest source of omega-3...

We're back with episode #004 of The Paleo Women Podcast. Be sure to check back every Tuesday for a new episode, and head over to iTunes or Stitcher to subscribe!

This week, Stefani and Noelle discuss how to deal with sugar cravings, the best foods to eat for fertility, and balancing hormones after pregnancy. Also, you'll get some recommendations for natural deodorants.

Please note! To prove to you just how imperfect we are, we made a rather large mistake in our "off the cuff" calculations for minimum fat grams you should be consuming per day. We recommend consuming a minimum of 600 calories from fat, which would be around 67g of fat per day, not 20g. Unfortunately, we decided to practice math and realized our mistake only after we ended the podcast.

Show notes can be found on Paleo for Women at paleoforwomen.com/episode4, or on Coconuts & Kettlebells at coconutsandkettlebells.com/episode4.

Kimera Koffee
This podcast is supported by Kimera Koffee. Kimera Koffee (both with a “K”) is premium high-altitude coffee infused with Nootropics. It’s one of the most well known and loved nootropic coffees on the market. As a special offer to our community, they are offering 10% off your order with the code WELLFED, all caps, no spaces on their website, kimerakoffee.com.

Nootropics are brain vitamins—sometimes also called smart vitamins—that help promote a whole bunch of good stuff like focus, cognition, and memory. Kimera calls it “coffee with cognitive enhancers.” The coffee is infused with 750mg of nootropics, specifically Alpha-GPC, which is a natural choline compound, Taurine, and L-Theanine, which is a non-dietary amino acid that is well know for promoting mental relaxation. It’s typically found in green tea and certain mushrooms. Some people supplement with it because it can help reduce anxiety. Kimera Koffee's nootropics come from organic compounds found naturally in food sources such as eggs and green tea.

Kimera Koffee chose these specific nootropics in order to create the right mental and physical edge. The coffee is great for athletes prior to workouts, and great for improving focus at home or at work. The beans are incredibly high quality and harvested from their high altitude farm in the Dominican Republic.
