As an entrepreneur you have a strategy for literally everything in your business.   How to grow your audience, how to make more money or how to be seen as a leader in your industry. Everything in your business is strategically planned in order for you to hit a very specific goal which in turn, allows you to grow into a better entrepreneur.   So why do we not strategically plan for our own mental and physical wellness in the same way we do our content or marketing strategy? Why is that most entrepreneurs have to hit a serious case of burnout before they create some sort of self-care plan when our business would be nothing if we weren't in it?   No matter how many incredible strategies we use within our business to get to the next level, we are still our biggest asset. EP 169: What's Next?

At the beginning of 2021, I had so much hope that this would be MY YEAR! The year where I'd have my breakout moment and reap all of the benefits of the seeds I have been planting over the past 7 years. What I didn't know was that this year was going to peel a part everything that i knew about myself and become one of my roughest years to date. From my mental health really take a toll on my daily life, to missed goals and feeling super out of alignment, this year has beat my ass in more ways than one.   But that's not to say that it was all bad. I've welcomed new clients, finally got to travel, spent time with those I've loved and welcomed some amazing new clients. This year through all of its chaos also showed me that so much of my identity and who I thought I was, was too wrapped up into a title that I had given myself and a box that I had put myself in. Which has led me to this week's podcast episode. In this episode I talk about the year 2021 has been, why i've decided to take the rest of the year off of social media and what I'm hoping to gain during this much needed break. Shunta is the founder of the adorable girls accessory brand, Because of Zoe, she’s a business coach helping women move past “busy” and the creator of The Best Today Guide which is a printed workbook designed to help women get clear on what they want and provides a simple three-step process to guide them toward their vision for the future one “today” at a time.  In a world telling women to “hustle hard” and “do it all,” thought leader and business educator Shunta Grant has embraced a unique mission to free women from the overwhelm, tension, and discontentment of a life marked by “busy.” Shunta teaches women how to embrace their specific dreams, intentions, and objectives in order to live a fulfilled life on the other side of busy by helping them 1) get clear on their vision; 2) set specific intentions for their life or business; and 3) put practical steps in place so that their vision becomes reality. EP 87: Defining What Self-Care Looks Like For You with Taylor Morrison, Founder of Inner Workout

So all this month in The LOE Collective we have been talking about passive income and the ladies are working to create a small digital product that they can launch to their audience by the end of the month. As someone who used to provide 1:1 business coaching, I know first hand how important it is to have passive income. Or at the very least a digital product that doesn't necessarily depend on me to constantly show up. If it wasn't for passive income, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy vacations when i was coaching. And I definitely wouldn't have been able to spend several months on maternity leave. Don’t get me wrong, coaching was an incredible opportunity that allowed me to not only see just how much I was capable of making as a business owner (the money was good ya’ll) but it also helped me to get a better understanding of what my audience needed. But it did feel good to be able to take a break from coaching every once in a while and not have to worry about how i was going to bring in money. I often tell my clients to start out with offering a service because of some of those very reasons. A better understanding of your client and also the consistent income. But i also recommend it bc once you can nail down your process, you can then turn that service into multiple different products. Which in return allows you some flexibility in your session schedule, increases your income and also meets your audience where they are. Not everyone may be able to afford your high end service at the moment but being able to give them a few other options is a great way to serve those who may not have it in the budget to work with you but still need your help. So in this episode i’m going to share with you a super simple process for taking your service and turning it into 2 different types of digital products!
