15: Healing Your Body + Mastering Your Mind

My guest on the show today, Radhika Mukhija Sud. Radhika is the Founder of Holistic Prana where she offers Integrative Health and Life Coaching. She has had the honor of guiding busy, professionals and entrepreneurs around the world to a superior state of wellbeing, cognitive performance, and inner bliss. Her approach seamlessly blends together science-based practices to improve the function of every aspect of the body, as well as resources along with accountability that uplift the mind and spirit. Radhika was born in India and raised with yoga, consciousness and meditation. As a child, she was always intrigued in the workings of the human mind and that led her to pursue her bachelor’s in Psychology. Her former life involved hiring top management talent – CEO’s and C level professionals as an executive search consultant for banking and financial services companies across the globe. Even with achievements like being featured in a leading business magazine, and having several early successes –She felt like something crucial was missing from my life. When her mom got diagnosed with cancer, she was inspired to re-evaluate her busy lifestyle and decided to trade in pulling all-nighters and boardroom meetings for health coaching and yoga. She was determined to help her heal. Her research returned her to her roots and led to a deeper understanding of mindfulness, yoga and Ayurveda--and the mind-body-spirit connection. Now, as a certified Integrative Health and Human Potential Life coach, she blends that ancient wisdom with clinical sensibilities, including neuroscience and biohacking. In this episode Radhika and I delve into her own personal journey and the blend of ancient wisdom and clinical sensibilities that she includes in her coaching practice for those seeking healthier lifestyles through holistic, mindful wellness.  In This Episode: Meet today’s guest, Radhika [ 1:25 ] Radhika’s journey from corporate to coaching  [2:20] Helping her mother heal [4:30] Yoga + Mindfulness [8:18] Finding your purpose through grief  [10:30 ] Ayurveda + Ancient wisdom [14:05 ] Awareness of nutrition [21:30] Your body wisdom [27:42]The one self-care tool to use everyday [29:50] Rituals for grounding [32:30] Breathwork for sleep  [35:00] Herbs for calming  [37:40] Closing messages [40:00] Links & Resources Mentioned: Connect with Radhika here: Radhika's Instagram Connect with me on Instagram: Libby's Instagram Join the Vitamin You Challenge here: Vitamin You Challenge

14: Savoring The Beauty of Spaciousness

My guest on the show today, Angela Jia Kim,  is the brilliant boss babe behind the beauty brand, Savor Beauty.  Angela is a former concert pianist-turned-founder of Savor Beauty, a natural skincare, facial spa, and self-care journal brand inspired by Korean beauty rituals. The award-winning serums, creams, cleansers, peels, and masks are made sustainably and ethically by women in the Hudson Valley. The products are delivered fresh to its three New York spas for Savor Spa’s signature specialty facials, which have been chosen by editors from Allure, Goop, and Elle as “Best of NY”. Savor Beauty partners exclusively with select spa partners with a special interest in women-owned spas and estheticians. Angela Jia Kim is wife to a Swissman, mom to daughter Sienna, a yellow lab named Ella Fitzgerald, and a mini golden, Zoe. They reside in New York City's Upper West Side. In this episode, Angela and I walk through the journey to success and what it means to savor all of the steps along the way, give yourself the space to really understand your needs and pour back into your own cup through daily rituals & self-care.  In This Episode: Meet today’s guest, Angela Jia Kim [ 3:02 ] The Savor brands [3:40] Taking a look at the ingredients we place on our skin [4:30] Using failure as a lesson [8:10] Savoring the success [10:30 ] Enjoying your own company [13:40 ] Beauty rituals [22:00] The Savor Beauty products [24:00]Self-care & motherhood [28:40] Setting boundaries [34:00] Daily rituals to honor your needs [36:45 Protecting your energy [40:00] Closing messages [45:10] Links & Resources Mentioned: Connect with Angela  here: Angela's InstagramCheck out Savor Beauty’s Instagram: Savor Beauty's Instagram Connect with me on Instagram: Libby's Instagram Join the Vitamin You Challenge here: Vitamin You Challenge
