Episode 6: Saying Hello to Grief

TW: Grief When your life changes and your house becomes a florist. On 17th June 2020, our lovely father, Nab passed away. It was sudden, out the blue and jolted my life forever. Life is now very much pre and post Dad and I can't see it any other way. One day I was 19 years old, the next I was living a life that was way beyond my control, knowledge or what should be expected of any 19 year old - overwhelming to say the least.  Over the past year, with the support of incredible friends and family, I've managed to navigate my way through the world as I knew it collapsing in on itself, for who am I or where do I go without my Dad?  Grief is still confusing and everchanging but after a year, I feel like I have a handle on it, I can verbalise it and that's what this episode is today. A 40 minute rundown of the most intense experience of my life and where I'm headed.  Happiness is out there, despite what grief makes you believe.  Feel like you have a voice to be heard? Episode 5: Sisters Club - Dad

TW: Grief Sita, Mara and Ria. aka The trio. aka The sisters. aka Flora, Fauna and Merriweather. Please give a warm welcome this week to Sita and Mara Kalsi, Ria's older sisters, and a huge pat on the back for actually managing to co-ordinate the three of them to record an episode!  It's totally fitting that Sita and Mara are the first guests on the podcast being 2 of the women who inspire not only Matriarch but Ria, every day.  Our sister's club has always been tight knit, weird and private. We almost exclusively communicate in FRIENDS references and from the outside, as we have been made aware, we seem like total idiots. But we're fine with that, and if you are too, we're opening up the club today in our first (hopefully of many) sister's club episodes! Our relationships have been developing exponentially but this past year has been the most intense we might ever have. After losing our father in June 2020 and coming back home to live together for the first time in 10 years, we decided to sit down to discuss our lovely daddy, Nab. Episode 4: Finding Fitness

TW: eating disorders, calorie counting, diets, body image and weight loss/gain. Finding fitness in my life has always been a struggle and a yoyo but now, at the age of 20, I do feel like I'm getting there and changing my lifestyle for my body and mind. But this was hard, it's been 2 years and I'm still going, because ultimately, none of this is linear - it's a consistent effort.Join our creator and founder Ria for another episode where she discusses the past 2 years of incorporating fitness and prioritising health in her life-  the good, the bad and the beautiful!Feel like you have a voice to be heard? Since March 2020, the fight for social justice has seem to become a priority in the culture of all generations. Episode 1: Failure

Flop, fall, break down, fail. Whatever you want to call it, we all experience it on a regular basis. But is there more to unpack here than just a simple word? What's the effect of that on us over time? What does it really tell us about people? Do we use this to judge people with rather than to help each other? Today I unpack some of my experiences with failure and how that's effected me and where I've found power in failure.  Feel like you have a voice to be heard? Let us know and send a DM or an email!
