https://youtu.be/IcaKAdcvvas  As the owner and artistic director since 2006 of Danse 1…2…3, Montreal’s premiere triple threat performing arts studio, Connie Rotella has had the privilege of helping many young artists develop their talents.  Connie has been dancing, teaching, choreographing and directing professionally for the past twenty five years, working in different styles of dance and performance, on film, television and stage. She trained primarily in Montreal and Toronto and participated in numerous dance workshops in New York and Los Angeles.   Closest to her heart has been representing and helping young up-and-coming Canadian performers get established in their careers.  Her students performed in the Disney Parade in Orlando and in big Montreal productions, such as Hairspray and Mary Poppins just to name a few and some were hired in lead roles for movies and television series while others are enjoying the professional tour life with companies. Connie has worked closely with many well known French artists for their upcoming tours, video-clips and television appearances.   She also worked with casting agents or commercials, TV shows, movies and music videos. She participated as a guest judge on Le Match Des Étoiles on Radio-Canada, and was the first Canadian asked to give a theatrical workshop to the contestants of Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance, Poland. She choreographed and staged a scene for the Hollywood movie, White House Down.  This gave her the opportunity to work with some of the leading producers in the film industry. Connie also choreographed a piece for the actress Linda Sorgini in “Judy Garland, la fin d’une Étoile, and judged along side Jean-Marc Genereux and Vince Guzzo in “ Dancing with the Stars” for Just for kids foundations. Created by Robert D'Alessio, he immediately cast veteran theatrical performer Patty Saragosa to play his wife on the show. By episode 2, voice actor/actor Art Laduke was cast to play the narrator. In episode 4, singer/actor/producer Jenny DuHaime joined the cast as the female narrator and in episode 5 both Laduke and DuHaime became regular cast members.  As the show progressed the beloved genie Dushash The Impeccable earned a spot on the show. https://youtu.be/gjLhAgmzG24 Charles V. Rox Vaccaro, is a singer songwriter and rock guitarist from Montreal. His passion for music started very young. In the mid 80’s he was one of the founding members of the rock band LIPSTIK, managed by none other than Whitney Houston (Nippy Management Inc). The band gained big national and international notoriety, and was featured in several magazines, on radio and television, until the music scene took a different turn by the mid 90’s, and LIPSTIK went their separate ways.   The passion Charles puts in his music comes from his inner heartfelt vision, that has brought him to be a skilled musician and a great creator: sometimes it could be just the love for those three chords, or an inspiring story with the endless variations that an artist can use to narrate it.  Throughout his life and extensive music career, Charles had experienced some really interesting events and has been writing and performing several songs for him but also for other talented musicians.   After a short hiatus from the entertainment industry, he recently has released several songs and he has ready a brand new single produced by Peter Ranallo, called “Can’t Stop Running” accompanied by a captivating music video directed by Marco Iammatteo. Charles has been recently nominated for the Singer/Songwriter category for the HMMA’s Hollywood Music in Media Award for 2020. She is best known for her work in Quebec musical theater and as a voice actress and director in Los Angeles. Sergine graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York, and began her career as a performing “triple-threat” in many hit shows, including La Cage aux Folles, Grease and 5 Woman Show, which she co-created.  As a director, her stage credits include the French adaptation of Little Women-the musical, and Jason Robert Brown’s 13.    She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she has directed the French language dubs of over 20 features, including Mr. Holmes with Sir Ian McKellan, and The Rewrite with Hugh Grant. In addition, she has lent her voice to many Hollywood stars, including Diane Keaton, Cate Blanchett, Allison Janney, Linda Hamilton, and Salma Hayek. In recent years, she has directed the English dub of over 75 TV episodes, including the second season of the animated series Mini Wolf, now streaming on Netflix.  In 2014, Sergine co-created, directed and starred in the web series 2 Femmes a Hollywood. She returned to her stage roots in 2019 and directed Slap Kiss Kill at Hollywood’s McCadden Theater. For as long as I can remember I’ve been obsessed with stories of women who go from rags to riches, from fear to success, and vice versa. What separates those who cave into their circumstances while others climb to the top?   WHY DO SOME SELF-DESTRUCT AND OTHERS SUCCEED? As a child I always was attracted to powerful female human characters…mainly princesses…who ruled with passion, purpose, and who pioneered their own path. Every movie. Every book. Every bedtime story. My mom even had to dig deep into the bowels of library literature from ye olden days to find new princess stories. I couldn’t get enough of them. I was fascinated by their humanity, despite their royal status.  I hid inside these characters and buried myself in my imagination to escape the truth of what was going on at home. Addiction ran rampant in my house: my dad the addict, my mom the quintessential codependent. It was then, as a child when I made the decision to be an actress.    I ACTED IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES - IN MY ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS + IN MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MYSELF. I acted like I was fine when I wasn’t. I acted happy when all I wanted to do was cry. I acted healthy when all I wanted to do was puke. I started doing a dangerous dance with bulimia, body image issues, and blame that lasted 10 years. The funny thing is, most people thought I had my shit together…like really well. And, yet, I soldiered on with my story of "being the victim," blaming others for my pain.   THE STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES ARE THE MOST PROFOUND…AND USUALLY NOT TRUE. I created this powerful story in my mind that affected every part of me - my career, my relationships, and my relationship with my body. I believed I was broken. So I continued to break off pieces of me to fit into other people’s molds of what I thought they wanted me to be. I was a chameleon. Adapting to survive.   IN MY STORY, I WAS NEVER ENOUGH.  Not perfect enough. Not smart enough. Not working hard enough. Not skinny enough. Not lovable enough. So I constantly had to PROVE myself. As a child I always was attracted to powerful female human characters…mainly princesses…who ruled with passion, purpose, and who pioneered their own path. Every movie. Every book. Every bedtime story. My mom even had to dig deep into the bowels of library literature from ye olden days to find new princess stories. I couldn’t get enough of them. I was fascinated by their humanity, despite their royal status.  I hid inside these characters and buried myself in my imagination to escape the truth of what was going on at home. Addiction ran rampant in my house: my dad the addict, my mom the quintessential codependent. It was then, as a child when I made the decision to be an actress.    I ACTED IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES - IN MY ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS + IN MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MYSELF. I acted like I was fine when I wasn’t. I acted happy when all I wanted to do was cry. I acted healthy when all I wanted to do was puke. I started doing a dangerous dance with bulimia, body image issues, and blame that lasted 10 years. The funny thing is, most people thought I had my shit together…like really well. And, yet, I soldiered on with my story of "being the victim," blaming others for my pain.   THE STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES ARE THE MOST PROFOUND…AND USUALLY NOT TRUE. I created this powerful story in my mind that affected every part of me - my career, my relationships, and my relationship with my body. I believed I was broken. So I continued to break off pieces of me to fit into other people’s molds of what I thought they wanted me to be. I was a chameleon. Adapting to survive.   IN MY STORY, I WAS NEVER ENOUGH.  Not perfect enough. Not smart enough. Not working hard enough. Not skinny enough. Not lovable enough. So I constantly had to PROVE myself. Patricia Chica is an alumna of the TIFF Filmmaker Lab, the CMPA Pre-Sales Pitches in L.A. program, as well as a recipient of the Temerty Family Fellowship - Share Her Journey Program and of the SODEC_LAB.   Patricia Chica was born in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, in the seventies from middle class parents; a mother of Italian descent and a Salvadorian father. She is the oldest of four children. Because of the civil war that struck in El Salvador in the early eighties, on January 24th, 1981, Patricia and her family fled death squads for the safety of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She became a naturalized Canadian citizen in 1985.  In 1996, she graduated (Cum Laude) from the Film Production department at Concordia University. Right after graduation, Patricia won a grant from the OFQJ to go do her professional internship at Ellabel Productions in Paris where she learned fiction cinema production in the French system. This was followed by another grant given by the Montreal Women in Film Association (FCTVM) to learn documentary cinema directing at the National Film Board of Canada.  Patricia Chica directed her first video at age 16 while still in High School (Chomedey Polyvalent High School in Laval, Quebec, Canada) and has never stopped making movies since then.  Before she became known as a director-producer, she worked for eight years as a casting director with her company ChicArt Productions.  Those formative years allowed her to become familiar with the acting process and directing actors while casting projects like The List (2000) (starring Ryan O'Neal and Ben Gazarra), Bonanno: A Godfather's Story (1999) (Showtime drama series), Something Organic (1998), Bertrand Bonnello's first feature starring Romane Bohringer and Laurent Lucas. His early organ teachers included Christian Lane, Thomas Bara, Dr. Peter Nikiforuk and Joe Carere. He completed his secondary school studies at Michigan’s prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy and is currently a third-year organ performance student at the McGill University Schulich School of Music, where he studies with Jonathan Oldengarm and Hans-Ola Ericsson.  Mr. Straus-Fausto is a recent recipient of the school’s 2020-21 John Grew award for excellence in organ performance.    While still a teenager, Mr. Straus-Fausto undertook a very successful Canada Council-funded summer 2019 concert tour of the UK, playing in historic churches and cathedrals. He has also performed on many landmark instruments across Canada and the U.S. In fall 2019, he was appointed Titular Organist at the prestigious Église du Très-Saint-Nom-de-Jésus in Montréal, whose four-manual, 120-rank Casavant organ is acclaimed as one of Canada’s finest.    In addition to international performing, he has taken lessons with some of the greatest names in the organ world, including Olivier Latry, Johann Vexo, Vincent Dubois, Philippe Lefèbvre, and Paul Jacobs.    Mr. Straus-Fausto's broad repertoire ranges from early 15th-century keyboard music to contemporary works. His early organ teachers included Christian Lane, Thomas Bara, Dr. Peter Nikiforuk and Joe Carere. He completed his secondary school studies at Michigan’s prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy and is currently a third-year organ performance student at the McGill University Schulich School of Music, where he studies with Jonathan Oldengarm and Hans-Ola Ericsson.  Mr. Straus-Fausto is a recent recipient of the school’s 2020-21 John Grew award for excellence in organ performance.    While still a teenager, Mr. Straus-Fausto undertook a very successful Canada Council-funded summer 2019 concert tour of the UK, playing in historic churches and cathedrals. He has also performed on many landmark instruments across Canada and the U.S. In fall 2019, he was appointed Titular Organist at the prestigious Église du Très-Saint-Nom-de-Jésus in Montréal, whose four-manual, 120-rank Casavant organ is acclaimed as one of Canada’s finest.    In addition to international performing, he has taken lessons with some of the greatest names in the organ world, including Olivier Latry, Johann Vexo, Vincent Dubois, Philippe Lefèbvre, and Paul Jacobs.    Mr. Straus-Fausto's broad repertoire ranges from early 15th-century keyboard music to contemporary works. I’m building a life with a man I love on a farm in the middle of nowhere. I’m a feminist. I keep my friends a long time. I love my work. That’s probably not what you want to know but what the hell… I typed it so there it is. What you probably want to know is how I can help you. I think that’s important too.  ​WHAT DO I DO?  I share the value of my 25 years of experience as a coach with my clients. In addition to coaching, I’ve been an agent, casting director, writer, director, and producer.   I share that experience too. One of my first coaching clients booked a supporting role in an Oscar-winning film called “Almost Famous.” The film’s great. You should check it out. My student’s name is Terry Chen, he played Ben Fong Torres and he’s a great person as well as an excellent actor.   After that happened I decided I was pretty good at coaching, I liked it a lot, so why not keep it up. When we work together you get access to all my connections as I think you need them. You also have access to my instinct, my unusual approach that brings a unique perspective to the work, and my total dedication. There is a big IF with this.  IF you give your all so do I. If you don’t I discontinue coaching until you’re ready. If we don’t mix I help you find a different coach who can help you. I also help you find your own specific path to success.  No one has the same route but there are similar elements to every journey and I have been down this road enough times that I know where to go, how to get there and how to avoid the pitfalls. Also, some people have a harder time for various reasons. Age, sex, race, and even height can be an issue. I find the workaround. If you give your all I do too. She began her career as a model at the age of 14 while studying acting.  She would soon after appear in many feature films, TV series and commercials in Montreal and Toronto. Becoming UDA and ACTRA shortly thereafter, she worked in radio on the weekends (and would continue to do voice work for another 10 years) while working at a talent agency during the week and teaching acting at night.   At the age of 21, she opened her first talent and modeling agency. In February 2000, she decided to sell her agency to pursue new horizons and a new challenge; running a successful casting agency. As a businesswoman, Hélène Rousse has worked in many aspects of the entertainment business including producing several short films. “It’s important to understand all facets of the business to be a good casting director. We never finish learning.” She says. “Becoming a Casting Agent is a culmination of my experiences as an artist, agent, producer and businesswoman.” Hélène Rousse knows how to put together a dedicated staff that is prepared and capable to book anything from a thousand extras to a simple voice casting. She brings a professional yet friendly touch to each of her projects.    Total Casting was founded by Hélène Rousse in 2001. Rob's Inner Circle -EP11- With Hélène Rousse

https://youtu.be/ekMy6WaHEiQ  Terence Bowman was born in Montreal , Quebec, Canada in 1963. He was in first school play at the age of 7. From there on in, he appeared in every play, talent show and opportunity to be on stage that his school had toffer.  At age 16, he joined the Narroway Theatre Troupe under the direction of Montreal actor/writer/director Harry Standjofski. Over the next five years, Terence would appear in 18 plays with the troupe (many of them original Standjofski creations). During this time, Terence also wrote, directed and acted in numerous amateur and student films and videos.  Terence studied in the Theatre Workshop Program at John Abbott College in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.  He appeared in student productions of Twelve Angry Men, Godspell, Teahouse of the August Moon and A History of the American Film.  He began his career with an amazingly succussful run as an improv and sketch comedy perfomer. He was a member of the nationally reknowned Montreal-based sketch comedy troupe, The Vesitules. He was also a founding member and Artistic Director of On The Spot Improv, one of Canada's longest running improv troupes (see the SKETCH AND IMPROV COMEDY link for more).   In the early 90’s, Terence played the role of Captain Kirk in three hit productions of Star Trek: On Stage. He played the Player King in dual productions of Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.  He later starred in two different one-man shows of his own creation.  Terence was nomimated for a 1993 Gemini Award in the "Best Comedy Performance" category for his work with The Vestibules on the Just For Laughs TV series.    He also spent four years studying the Meisner Technique with the legendary Canadian acting teacher, Jacqueline McClintock.  His feature film work includes No Good Deed with Samuel L. Jackson and The Sum of All Fears with Ben Affleck.   TV appearances include recurring roles on the series Blue Mountain State and Big Wolf on Campus along with multiple appearances on the semi-improvised series Prank Patrol. Other TV works includes The Reagans, Inheriting Trouble, Lassie, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, The Audrey Hepburn Story, Largo Winch, Fortier, Gleason, Vampire High, The Jackie O.
