Jodie, a true inspiration, shares her coping mechanisms and how she lives alongside her grief a year later. Losing someone so close to you makes you view the world from a different perspective. It allows you to look at the bigger picture of life and teaches you to focus on things that make you happy and ignore the minor details that in the end, will not matter. His death taught me to show everyone how much I love and appreciate them, and to look on the brighter side of life, as no matter how hard it is to see it is always there waiting for you. Life is unexpected, and you can plan as much as you want, but life can change in a matter of minutes, so live it." - Jodie Gordon
