A high school standout at pitching in Virginia, she would transfer from Virginia Tech to Oregon after her freshman year. That's when things started to go south for Dail, as mental health struggles turned into on-the-field struggles, which resulted in more mental health issues. But with the help of others, and her own perseverance, she's been able to fight through and come out on the other side healthier than before.
