5: How to Meditate at Work

Heya soul seekers, In this episode, hailing straight from vacation, I discuss how we can bring more meditation and mindfulness into the workplace. Spirituality and work are not separate compartments, but rather they are components we can merge together to make a more peaceful and spiritually aligned workplace. I discuss: A MORNING PRACTICE REPEATING A MANTRA MEDITATIONS FOR WORK -8 3 1 Meditation : Inhale 8 seconds through nose, hold for 3 seconds, exhale through mouth for one second. Repeat as many times as you want. Great for anxiety. -Nose meditation: Experiment with breathing in and out through your dominant and non dominant nostril. Play around with it! Meditate for as long or short as you want. Great for stress. Do it anywhere in front of anyone. Very discreet meditation. -Object meditation: gaze at an object for seconds to minutes. Consider what it looks like and your other senses. MINDFULNESS AT WORK -Check-ins throughout the day: what am I thinking? What am I feeling? What do I see/hear/feel/smell/touch? -Asking the question "Is this true?" in the face of irrational negative thoughts or judgement. 4: 3 Short Meditations for Anxiety and Personal Power

Namaste everyone, In today's episode I share 3 AWESOME short breathing meditations that take only one minute or less to complete. PERFECT for stress relief at work, while running errands, driving, or even talking. Meditations Mentioned: 1. 8-3-1 Breathing Meditations Breathe in slowly through nose for 8 counts, hold for 3 counts, exhale out your mouth for one forceful breath. Great for anxiety and stress. You can do this one anywhere. Especially great for work! 2. Breathe of Fire This is a yoga breath pattern that is great for increasing energy and personal power. I recommend watching someone do it on Youtube to see a visual in real life. In this meditation, you breathe in and out quickly through your nose, while forcefully moving your diaphragm out as you inhale, and in as you exhale. Check out this demonstration --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQS4Ad-16vE 3. Nostril Meditation This meditation is great for stress relief. Do this one ANYWHERE! As you breathe in and out through your nose, alternate focus on each of your nostrils.
